Peace and Tranquillity -Hot Tub- Dog Friendly

TonyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Debbie’s place is a little piece of paradise, the setting is stunning, the gardens are fantastic and the cottage is warm and cosy whilst also being spacious and really well laid out. We had everything we needed and immediately felt at home. The open plan kitchen into the cosy living room left us all feeling connected, utility space was really useful, conservatory with stunning views allowed us to dine together and relax during the day. Outside area is also stunning for meals on the patio and bbq’s and the hot tub was great to relax in on an evening looking at the stars in peace and tranquility.. there’s a slight walk up to the property across a field but once you’re in the cottage and its gardens it’s worth every step. Great for the dogs too. Loads to do in the area, our highlight was Lyme Regis beach.. many thanks to Debbie and everyone who made us feel so welcome. We would go back to Debbie’s place in a heartbeat!

Very lovely place, me and my girlfriend stayed here for a weekend and had no complaints. The host responded quickly and the property looked exactly like the photos. All the extra little touches like the fire wood, slippers, eggs and etc really made us feel welcome. Overall we really enjoyed our stayed and would happily stay here again.

A luxury cottage at Glen Silva Farm

AbigailRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Had a wonderful stay at Silva Cottage. The cottage was beautiful and had everything a person could need and very clean. The location was amazing set in woods and so so quiet apart from the birds which were a delight to see and hear especially watching the comings and going’s of Woodpeckers on the bird feeder. The hot tub was spectacular.Set in the woods nothing could compare to sitting back and enjoying the tub with a glass of fizz. We had a great recommendation from Lorraine for an Indian Takeaway which delivered to the cottage and ate a great lunch at The Tamar Inn at Calstock. Great location for walkers with Dartmoor on one side and Bodmin Moor on the other plus the coastal path. Would highly recommend this property and would love to return.

Orchard Cottage; hot tub, tennis, spacious grounds

JoshRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lower Marsh Farm is brilliant. Wonderful location, excellent facilities, peaceful and calm. Due to the rural location, you do need a car to get there and navigate the area. Olivia the host is incredibly attentive, the instructions for getting there are clear, the optional services are excellent, and the setting is idyllic. We visited with two young children who were captivated by the wildlife and farm animals. Enjoy!

SusanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Thank you for a lovely stay. Lovely accomodation in a beautiful, peaceful setting. We enjoyed walks around the farm and we were joined by one of the hosts dogs a couple of times which we loved. We even managed to see an otter down at the river on our first night! Bird and hedgehog watching from the hot tub with a glass of bubbly… bliss.

Number 9

BobRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This is a lovely cottage in the heart of Kingsbridge and provides a great base for exploring the local area. The biggest bonus being it has it's own parking space - a rare thing in the centre of the town. The cottage was very clean, comfortable beds & suitably equipped for our 4-night stay. It's only a 3-minute walk into the centre of town which has a good selection of coffee shops, restaurants and local independent shops. It is also very close to the bus station and as we were walking a section of the SW Coastpath from Bantham around to Brixham, there is an excellent service out to Thurlestone, Salcombe & Dartmouth and most places in between, making it very easy to plan day walks. We would certainly look to stay here again if we find ourselves in this area in the future.

Beautiful Cottage close to beaches and shops

MauriceRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My wife and I had a lovely 8 nights in Simon and Charlie's place. Very comfortable, well equipped kitchen, very good TV in both kitchen and living room. The bedroom is spacious and very comfortable. Delightful private garden with fishpond and lovely flora. The place is very well situated with a lovely walk down to Anstey's Cove and a very short walk to Kents' Caves. Be aware that the EV charger mentioned in the amenities is just an outside 13 amp plug so if you want to do a full fast charge you need to look elsewhere, but it's OK to top up. Overall, an excellent place to base yourself for the whole area.

Wow what a find! The lodge is very thoughtfully planned and very well equipped. A stunning and peaceful location with the beach only a 5 minute drive and Kingsbridge 10 mins. The owners were so friendly and we loved the little welcome treats left for us on arrival. The walk down to the pond is wonderful, definitely a must do if you visit. We were very sad to leave, but do hope to be back and we will certainly recommend to others. Thank you for making our stay memorable.

Fledgling Barn: stunning new coastal holiday home

SophieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at Swallows Nest. Lucia and Dan met us on arrival and also left a card and bottle of bubbly for my birthday which I thought was very kind. We have a four year old and one year old so it’s not always easy finding somewhere suitable but Lucia kindly set up a cot for us and supplied a high chair. The upstairs is open plan with a gate across the stairs so very safe for our baby crawling. Our four year old absolutely loved being on a farm and going to collect fresh milk from over the road. It’s so peaceful day and night. It was our first time in this part of Devon and we were blown away by the landscape, pretty little villages and many beaches in such lovely unspoilt settings. We would love to stay again!

Seaspray - a perfect coastal retreat

LouiseRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Stayed for a mum and daughter trip for originally 5 nights as a last-minute break by the sea. Clear instructions from Simon before and during the stay. Apartment very homely, bright, clean with an amazing view over the pool and sea. Almost everything thought of within the apartment for small families, couples and groups alike. Fantastic location next to a lovely beach, walks over to Thurlestone and beautiful Hope Cove, short drive to Salcombe also which we made a few times. Whilst there we decided we’d like to stay an extra night to take advantage of the bank holiday - Simon responded almost instantly and amended the booking through the app with no trouble at all. 100% would return when we are able, so many pretty villages around but also lovely to make use of the apartment, pool area and balcony. Thanks for a wonderful stay in one of our favourite coastal areas!

A lovely apartments. Very spacious, more than shown in photos. Everything was spotless. Very comprehensive info pack with everything about all appliances, area, beaches etc. the property accepts pets but because of the excellent cleanliness of the property you would not know that previous users had brought their furry friends with them. It is off the beaten track which is part of its charm. A lovely group of converted farm buildings. Would def stay again.
