Absolutely serene quiet place to stay. House has such a unique and fun layout and is very accommodating. Very private location along a flowing creek. I only wish we could stay longer than a quick weekend getaway. Heather is an AMAZING host!! Extremely responsive and friendly. Daydreaming of being back already. Being able to walk out the back door for 5 minutes to the river was amazing. And the yard was fenced in so my dog could sniff around off-leash. Mary gave great recommendations for restaurants and hikes. It was a very peaceful stay.

This is an awesome place. I’m not sure if it was because of the time of the year but we got a great rate it was beyond reasonable. The place looks better in person than in picture, this might sound like a fake review but this is actually a diamond in the rough I hope I get the opportunity to stay here again next year.

This was our family's 2nd stay at this property, and we wouldn't hesitate to book it again. The location is very private and secluded, with beautiful views everywhere you look. You're only a few minutes from Great Sand Dunes Nat'l Park, and about a 30-ish minute drive to the hot spring pool. The house is quite large and provided private spaces for each of the 5 of us. The large kitchen has every amenity. There is a "no shoes inside" policy at this property, which is not an issue at all, and the carpet and flooring stay clean. The roads in the neighborhood are not paved, and are perfect for taking long walks where you might spot deer, rabbits and dozens of hummingbirds.

This place was nice. We could tell Kristen spent time and effort making this a welcoming and pleasing place to relax on a getaway. Close to the hot springs and Alamosa without being in a busy or noisy area. We all slept well and enjoyed our stay! We only stayed one night but wished we had booked two nights. We were on a girls' trip, but this location would have been great for a family adventure or a romantic weekend. The views from the house are beautiful. Kristen responds quickly to requests and questions. We've already recommended this site to friends and family. We plan on staying here again when we visit the sand dunes with our kids this summer. Super cute house! So close to the Sand Dunes, recreation hot springs, and the gator farm. Loved being so close to all of the sight seeing. House was clean and super stocked up. Would definitely stay again if I was in the dunes area.
