We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Orchid Meadows Nature Reserve. Although this is a 2 guest property we contacted the hosts to ask if we could bring our baby and they were happy to allow this. This was to be our babies first mini break and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Instantly the property felt like home from home and provided everything we needed for a really comfortable stay. The hosts kindly offered us wonderful fresh eggs and produce from their poly tunnel on top of the delightful cakes awaiting us on arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed using the map to wander round the nature reserve - so much thought and effort has gone into it. If you are looking for somewhere to switch off, feel refreshed and love nature look no further. hosts were friendly, cottage was lovely and view was wonderful. local people chatty and lambs in the field opposite were hilarious to watch! We couldn't fault the accommodation, beds comfy, water hot and everything we needed in the kitchen. milk in the fridge on arrival was handy, plus tea bags and coffee. tasteful decor and furniture. we would highly recommend :-)
