A truly unique opportunity to stay inside a medieval town, surrounded by the charm, history, and beauty of Besalú. The home is so peaceful in the mornings and evenings, before the day’s visitors arrive. We chose this location as a base for cycling, and the space was perfect for the three of us and our bikes— there is incredible riding and hiking trails right outside the door. What made this stay especially memorable was Linda herself, the property owner who lives just below. Don’t leave without trying her amazing vegan sandwiches at the restaurant downstairs! A few quirks to be aware of: hot water sometimes took a moment but we were shown how to sort it out easily. Parking is nearby, though not inside the narrow-walled village. Food options can be limited during siesta hours, and the morning garbage truck can be a bit noisy. That said, none of these took away from the experience and we’d 100% stay here again!

It was perfect. Great location, great apartment. The host was very friendly. He helped us find the location, because navigation was really bad. The place is very spacious and well equipped. It is really cool that the apartment has its own garage. It was a good value for money.

We stayed 2 nights, my mom and I. And we loved it. Very quiet, we really like animals and being in nature and we were able to enjoy it. Ignasi, he was attentive to our needs. Everything was perfect!
