Gayana’s place was everything we hoped for and more! We were staying for a multi day wedding nearby and needed a clean easy place to sleep and get ready. Gayana and her lovely housekeeper ensured we had everything we needed and more! Including a delicious breakfast every day and assistance to one of the guests who has a visual impairment, which was so kind and appreciated. Beautiful house with a lovely pool - couldnt recommend more!

We spent 5 days with 3 kids in the house. It's an amazing nature experience to live in this house. It's even more beautiful in real life with views of Lake Kogala. There are really many beautiful birds in the garden and every day we saw a big bunch of monkeys coming by. The house is bordered by cinnamon plantations and beautiful lush nature. Kumaro is an amazingly helpful man who helped us with all kinds of things while we were staying in the house. The house was a good fit for a family of five. There are many good beaches near the house (you take a tuk tuk there). We also went whale watching from the house, so there are plenty of options. We would definitely recommend this house to others who would like to stay close to nature in a quiet area.

I picked this place for a weekend family getaway, and only wish we could have stayed longer than one night! Nadia was very friendly and we're grateful she accommodated my family of six adults & two little kids at Villa Ronnaduwa. The villa manager, Mr Gihan, and his team were very helpful and made our stay comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and got to see wild peacocks up close in the morning. The beds were super comfy and the bathrooms had outdoor showers, and one had a jacuzzi. The kids spent a lot of time in the pool (and so did some of the adults). There are insects out and about in the outdoor areas and sometimes in the bathrooms, but they are harmless and this is to be expected in a villa that is surrounded by nature. Had I been able to stay longer, I would definitely have made better use of all the spaces! Lots of seating that makes it ideal to hang around and read alone, or with family & friends. Thanks again for hosting us!

The Villa is stunning, even more beautiful than the pictures! The outlook from poolside was beautiful, we watched the monkeys playing in the trees while enjoying a lovely breakfast and throughout the day were visited by peacocks, iguanas and many different birdlife. What made this holiday an amazing experience was the excellent services of Chadima. Chadima is highly intuitive of what level of attention you prefer and always highly respectful of privacy and would always check before coming in the kitchen. Chadima prepared breakfast every day, asking for our preferences the night before. We also enjoyed some dinners and a lunch prepared by Chadima which were all excellent. Chadima is super proud of using the highest quality ingredients and would be at the fish markets in the early hours of the morning to get the catch of the day if fish was our choice for dinner. We also enjoyed a great fun cookery lesson with Chadima. Excellent & professional hospitality service - highly recommend.

Ranil’s villa is absolutely stunning. Not only is it in a fabulous location right on the most beautiful beach, it is huge with a beautiful internal courtyard garden, spacious rooms and lots of beautiful furniture. It’s really on a completely different scale! The pool is amazing, really big and wonderfully warm. In addition Piyal the villa manager and the team provide an amazing service and experience and Piyal was really super helpful. We would definitely highly recommend this villa and we hope to stay again one day.

Madampa House is a beautiful villa, full of wonderful surprises, from the view of the lake, the swimming pool, the dining areas and the wildlife! On top of this Jayantha and the staff were excellent, attending to every detail with perfection. The Sri Lankan food was so tasty and the hospitality was 1st class. Jayantha arranged an itinerary packed with wonderful experiences that our family will cherish forever. Thanks for everything and I really hope we return soon 😁

3 bedrooms with private toilet, suit for group of travelers, a bit difficult to find but the view was worth it.

One of our all-time favourite accomodations, from over 40 countries visited. What we loved: - falling asleep with the sound of waves, which was perfect (not too loud, not too low) - our mornings and sunsets on the terrace of the building - the location inside the forest, and on top of the cliffs - nature all around us, with nice fauna (varan, monkeys, peacocks, small birds) visiting us. Don’t worry, there is nothing dangerous, they avoid people - The access to the cliff which is just a couple of steps away from the villas. Very good place for sunsets and meditation after - The pool is really nice for relaxing swimming at the end of the day - Near 2 beaches : Jungle beach (amaaaazing place) and Unawatuna beach, also very nice - Small cozy restaurants just outside the villas - A lot of space inside, very comfortable beds & pillows - The host and personnel are top-notch. Hospitality at next level. It was my wife’s 25th birthday and they helped us make it memorable. Great experience!

This was the perfect place for our visit to Ahangama! Very private, spacious and catered to all our needs. Malintha was very responsive and always on hand to help with any questions we had. I’ll definitely be coming back and would recommend to anyone visiting Ahangama.

Place was perfect for us! Stayed there for 3 adults and one child. Really calm and quiet area. No parties or noise from the coastal road. Thineth organized everything we asked, starting from the working table to car trips around the island. The Internet is fast and suitable for remote working video calls etc. Would recommend his place for sure!

The photos don’t do it justice- what an incredible stay, the most awesome location and Susil’s service was so wonderful - cooking home cooked meals every night and delightful breakfasts ready for us as we came in from the surf each morning. Couldn’t have had a better stay and can’t wait to be back!

Had a great experience staying here. The communication was excellent, making check-in and any inquiries smooth. The rooms and bathrooms were impeccably clean. The kitchen was well-equipped, providing everything needed for a comfortable stay. The swimming pool was a good size and well-maintained. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at South Point Villa. We were 5 adults and 4 kids and the set up was perfect. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. There’s a chef for all meals or you can eat out at close by trendy restaurants. The location is very private at the end of the beach area so no one walking on the beach. It was also very secure with a security guard and watch dog at night so it felt very safe. The views were beautiful and relaxing and you can swim at the beach, our kids would swim in the mornings too during the low tide. Sonali was very responsive and helpful with all of our questions. We would recommend the villa to anyone and would like to return ourselves. Sri Lanka is a beautiful, easy and friendly destination.

Mif's villa is a real gem in Galle and gave our family the space we needed to have an enjoyable time in Galle with our kids. The villa is a beautiful old building and the rooms are well renovated and extremely clean. What makes this place so special is the wonderful care and attention given by Fayaz. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he went above and beyond to make sure everything was comfortable. We enjoyed chatting to him about a range of topics and he was always so friendly to the kids. During our time in Galle we had organised for a Sri Lankan friend to visit us, and Fayaz provided a beautiful afternoon tea for us to share with our friend. Lots of lovely little touches like this made for a very memorable time in Galle! Thank you Mif, Fayaz and the team!

We stayed for one month at Karins house and felt totally at home. location was perfect for us, in the jungle but so close to everything. 10 mins walk to the beautiful Sri Yoga Shala, 30 mins walk through back roads to Unawatuna town snd Turtle beach at end of the road with the lovely Wijaya beach restaurant, great for sunset drinks and pizza. The house is beautiful, modern and really well maintained, lovely quality furniture and everything you need. upstairs lounge was so nice to sit with a cup of coffee in the mornings and listen to the birds. The outside area is great with a lovely pool, ample places to relax and read a book and absolutely stunning plants – the whole design of the house is just magical. Communication with Karin was great, Sateesh was super helpful and the highlight was Sanjeewa who takes care of the house when you stay, absolutely superb. the house was kept spotless, he brought groceries, prepared lovely breakfasts and was wonderful with the kids. We will be back!

Lara's place is set in a beautiful setting overlooking rice patty fields. The crew was very nice and helpful. The Garden and swimming pool were stunning and every one in the family thoroughly enjoyed it along with the occasional peacocks and local animals ...which made for beautiful memories. Lara's place is not the closest to the beach but what is an additional 5 minutes in tuktuk for such setting, and still less than 10mins away from Unawatuna and all its restaurants. The breakfasts and naps on the terrasse were great as well. Once again, beautiful place and cant wait to go back.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful property, and it was truly a serene escape! Surrounded by lush coconut trees and vibrant plantations, the atmosphere was peaceful and calming. The presence of playful peacocks and hens added to the charm. The beautiful pool was the perfect oasis for relaxation, allowing us to slow down and simply enjoy the moment. Uncle Jagath, our host, was incredibly lovely and attentive. Despite a long delay in our arrival, he kept in touch throughout the evening and graciously waited to welcome us late into the night. His hospitality made us feel right at home. Uncle Jagath also provided excellent recommendations for local drivers and nearby attractions, ensuring we made the most of our stay. I can’t express enough how much I enjoyed this experience, and I’m already looking forward to returning with my family! Highly recommend this hidden gem! 🌴✨

Really enjoyed our time at VHB, we rented this Airbnb for my bachelor party, and the hosts along with the staff went above and beyond to make sure that it was a success! Clean place and well maintained.

Probably the best rental experience we've had. Jackie and Igmar are responsive and helpful hosts. If we had even a hint of a question or problem, Jackie was very quick to help us figure things out. The territory of the house is very nice, in the morning we fed squirrels and birds, near the windows there are trees that create even more pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. In the kitchen and in the appartements themselves there is everything for life, and even more. The apatramenty itself is very clean and pleasant, it is noticeable that the owners put a lot of effort in taking care of the house. If we could give it more than 5 stars, we would. Don't forget to read the rules before checking in, I didn't and then asked questions that were already answered in the rules.

I spent 2 nights in this beautiful place with my big family of 13. We all had such a great time. Kids loved the pool and all the water activities they had. It is located only a few minutes from Galle Fort which gave us the opportunity to do sightseeing quite conveniently. Loved the simple Sri Lankan buffet breakfast we had on both days. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. Have to mention Amarasiri, who gave us the best customer service throughout our stay. We will definitely visit this place next time we are in Australia. Best stay in Sri Lanka: Villa Kirigedara It took us a while to locate, with narrow roads but once we got there you had to drag us out. We immediately felt like coming home, from the warm welcome and smiles from Harsha (more about him later!), to the beautiful garden surroundings and plenty of nature sounds to feel like you're in your own slice of heaven. Rooms are clean, fitted well (blankets are a little thin, but it was raining quite a bit when we were there so prob cooler weather than expected), open air bathrooms is a natural extension of the beauty outside. Harsha- is the main star of this home that we loved. Goes out of his way in every way and we loved chatting with him. His cooking rivals a lot of restaurants around the area so please don't miss it during your stay or else you'll regret. He's great with our kids and does a short nature walk in the morning around the paddy fields too. Thanks Subodha and Harsha for a lovely stay and we'll be back soon!

Vidura and his wife are great host. once we landed in Colombo,he got in touch and was waiting outside main road of his house to guide us. only issue kids had was absence of TV and intermittent WiFi connectivity. everything from room to pool was well maintained and nearby areas can be explored by local srilankan railways too. His house is hardly 100 MTs from Maha induruwa station. thank you vidura and all the best for your future endeavours

I highly recommend this place to everyone, it is simply beautiful and an absolute oasis of well-being. Above all, Lijla is an absolute piece of gold, such a friendly and attentive person who prepared us delicious breakfast every morning and took care of everything. The terrace, pool and view is really great, 10/10. At first we didn't find the place directly and exchanged with the Mataramba Lodge in front, the last stretch of the way is a bit difficult to walk. You can drive 10-15 minutes to the beach by tuktuk. We also got a late check out, everything was wonderful!

The villa is one of these rare places that actually is better than the photos. And the team taking care of the house and the guests were amazing. We felt so welcome and they handled all situations with grace and kindness. I also appreciated that Ambolangoda is not the most touristic destination; only one or two beach bars, and the small center of the city was very local.
