A clean, comfortable, cozy cottage! Lot's of thoughtful amenities. They even left us a bottle of wine, nice coffee, popcorn. The beds were comfortable. The decor peaceful and clean. Even though the cottage was not in town it was very easy to find and located right on the street that you take right into town to the main visiting area.

The view from the porch and out the windows is STUNNING. Beautiful river view, incredible sunsets. House had good AC and cute little v clean bathroom. Kitchen was fine. There is a set of steps to get up into the house, as shown in the pics, so might not be the easiest choice for someone elderly or physically challenged. But for most people, this little place might be just the restful spot they are craving! Thank you, Melissa!

This adorable renovated farmhouse exceeded expectations and description. Immaculately clean, fluffy towels, comfy couches and bedding. The scenery is so peaceful and the hot tub was a delight. Less than 10 minutes drive to Broad St Edenton with cafes, restaurants, shopping, and the waterfront! A perfect location with incredible hosts.

Edenton Vacation Rental w/ Patio: Walk Downtown

This is an adorable historic home, safe neighborhood, and easy 6 block walk to the downtown shopping and dining. Our only complaint was about the beds. The master bedroom (down) is comfy and spacious. The beds upstairs were less than comfortable and single beds. In fact, one was a day bed that was too short for any of us girls. Definitely needs better mattresses, but the house, the charm, the walkability, the town all made up for the not-perfect sleeping. We would definitely rent again, but probably not for 4 people.

Our 3-night stay at Legacy Lodge Bunkhouse in Windsor, NC, was a delightful escape to celebrate my wife’s and son’s birthdays. The bunkhouse kept our two kids entertained with games, toys, an air hockey table, and bunk beds our son adored. Outside, a mini paradise awaited: multiple fire pits (unlimited wood for $30, highly recommended), play areas, and a covered concrete space perfect for rollerblading and scootering. We enjoyed the wood-fired pizza oven and grilled steaks, though the propane grill needs a deep clean. The thoughtful birthday gifts and decorations for our son, plus a “Honk, it’s my birthday!” sign by host Deena (explaining the passing cars’ honks), added such a warm touch. This peaceful retreat is ideal for families or anyone seeking serenity. We’d absolutely recommend it!
