Vacation rentals in Bernwood Forest

Phoebe's barn is nothing short of magical! My friends and I stayed here for a reunion after five years apart, and it was absolutely perfect. The barn is luxurious with everything we could possibly need. The fireplace was so cozy and the beds were incredible. There are several great pubs just a short drive away. We enjoyed an amazing roast at The Pointer. A huge thank you to Phoebe and her husband for being such gracious hosts—and for being so understanding about the noise on our first night (let’s just say our rendition of Dancing Queen might’ve been hard to miss from their house next door!).

This place was beautiful and so relaxing, exactly what is advertised. The place was easy to get to driving we stopped at their butchers and got some meat and seasonings for the BBQ before heading in to the cabin. Hot tub was on when we got there and TV which was awesome it set the scene as soon as you walk in. The price is a bit dear but once you get there you forget about the money it was worth the experience 100% I am considering returning for a couple days next year!

A delightful, clean and comfortable cottage in the picturesque Cuddesdon Village near Oxford. Communication with Evie was easy and productive and my wife and I felt welcome and thoroughly well supported before and during the stay. Unlike many Airbnb venues where we have stayed, tea, coffee, milk and sugar (and much more) were provided, a considerate and generous gesture which made a real difference after our journey. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything available for a couple or a larger group. Beyond the functional, the property has a warm and relaxing atmosphere and I unequivocally recommend it as a great place to stay. Thanks Evie.

As we were not arriving until 10pm and did not know the area we were apprehensive but it could not have been easier -Francesca had thought of everything in her instructions and in the fridge! The location is incredible - Summertown has a lovely ambience with nice coffee shops and places to eat and buy food. Oxford is an easy 30min walk away. As we were working while we were there it was great to have a desk in the bedroom as well as a table in the lounge. The whole apartment is lovely and bright. We will definitely go again

Stayed here for the night, lovely little place. Has everything you could need and is very cosy. Shower was amazing. Slightly out of the way from main places like Bicester / Oxford but is drivable distance so wasn’t a problem for us. Would recommend :)

Thank you Emma for a lovely relaxing stay. The house was gorgeous, fully equipped with everything you could possibly need and pristine. Quality bed and linens were really comfortable. It’s in a beautiful garden in a peaceful rural location but only a 15 min drive into Oxford. We really enjoyed our stay and are considering visiting next year again!

The Garden Room was a lovely place to stay for a weekend. It’s located in a quiet neighbourhood just a short bus commute to the town centre. The place was clean with good attention to detail including an umbrella and charging cables by the bed, definitely recommend😊
