Clean and well decorated accommodation, located on the beautiful island of Sommarøy with its crystal clear waters. Possibility of walking hikes from the house. Accommodation matches the description but kitchen and a bedroom a little small for 4 adults. However on this beautiful island it is hard to find better.

Jorun has had many guests in her house on Sommaroy. Like all guests before us, I can only confirm from the heart what a great hostess Jorun is and how comfortable we felt in her house from beginning to end!!!!! Even when arriving, the weather was anything but smooth, she was there for us with help and advice, thank you very much for that;) We will definitely come back again, on the one hand to enjoy Jorun's hospitality again and on the other hand to get a second chance to see the aurora lights, which unfortunately was not the case this time. I chased the aurora the house in front of the house. It's very clean and tidy. It's a beautiful house. The landlord can also respond in a timely manner.

The cabin has got anything you might need and the spot is perfect, with a stunning view on the fjord, which is 2 meters from the windows. Johnny and Tor Erik are super hosts, always proactive; we even participated in a winetasting event in the wine cellar, they provided us with suggestions on what to do and showed us where to pick up cross country skis for free (there are tracks with lights very near to the cabin).

Travel some days to experience the artic climates and northern lights. We were very lucky with both things. The home was easy to find, lovely, and authentically decorated with lots of personal touches. Everything was in order - clean, neat, and effective. We lacked nothing. The surroundings are amazing-nothing less. Communication with the host is easy and quick. All in all, a holiday in Gammelstua can definitely be recommended to everyone. At least we would love to come back another time ☺️

this house in a small village at the bottom of a fjord is very welcoming, the whole family felt very comfortable. The mountain on one side, the water from the fjord on the other, the setting is really great, and the place is quiet and refreshing. The village is located very close to many walking spots (car recommended to discover the treasures of Senja), and there is a very nice beach a 10 minute walk away. Jorgen was, even remotely, taking care of us and he made sure we had a good stay. Always responsive to our questions. we had a great week here, and saw very nice northern lights 🙂

Had a great stay! Cottage was more beautiful in real life than in the photos. Surroundings were also beautiful. Otherwise is really friendly and answer all your questions. Last day of our stay only there were no buses, because it was the weekend that made us want to cancel the last night and this was not a problem. You are 45 minutes from the city, but if you want to rest and be closer to nature, this is a great place! Public transportation can be reached from the cottage with the Svipper app. All in all, we enjoyed it here and recommend it to everyone!

We enjoyed the stay in this apartment a lot. It is very quiet and the view across the fjord is simply magical. Hergunn is a very kind host. The apartment offerered everything we needed.

Very cozy apartment in a nice location close to the sea. Tidy and clean, so everything was tip-top. About 15/20 minute walk to the city center, so it's a nice little walk.

Anette is a very friendly host. The house is amazing, comfortable beds and a lovely terrace overlooking the fjord. We were lucky to have good weather on one of the days where we could use the hot tub. The northern lights were the cherry on top of the cake. Would definitely recommend and hope to be able to visit again, the most amazing area I have ever been to.

We had a fantastic time staying at this property. Per and Stine were so welcoming. Per made sure we had everything we could possibly need to make the most of our time.
