Jon's place met our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The apartment was impeccably clean and organized, with all the details we needed for a comfortable stay. Communication with Jon was excellent from the start. He responded quickly to all of our questions. We recommend Jon's accommodation to anyone looking for a comfortable and cozy stay in Anguciana as a base to visit the upper Rioja.

Very nice corner of nature in the mountains, lots of things to see in the surroundings. Many opportunities for walking and cycling in the immediate vicinity, big town 25 km away so there is something for everyone during their stay. The host is very hospitable, always available and has an open door policy with a lot of knowledge of the region. Phil is also someone with many interests and is always available for in-depth conversations and if you wish you may be involved in his daily activities with donkeys or other activities. As described, this is not a 5-star accommodation but purely basic to reconnect with oneself. In short, a very pleasant stay for nature lovers without luxury.
