I had an amazing stay at this house! The two days I spent here were absolutely wonderful—surrounded by snowy mountains, the environment is incredibly peaceful, and at night, you can see stunning starry skies and even the aurora on clear nights! Self-check-in was a breeze, and the home itself is fully equipped with everything you need: air conditioning, a cozy fireplace (and the host even provided firewood!), plus a fully stocked kitchen with all cookware, dishes, spices, an oven, and a dishwasher. It was so handy to buy groceries from the town supermarket and cook the way I like. Whether you’re here for a short trip or a longer stay, this place is perfect. Highly recommend!

As other guests have commented, the actual condition of the house is very good, beyond the description of the photos. The landlord is very friendly and enthusiastic, and took the initiative to introduce the attractions. She provided us with a hearty breakfast, and she generously gave us 6 eggs from her home, which were simply delicious. Recommended!

Old Man Vineyard Cottage.

The cottage is part of a working vineyard, and one finds serenity and feels restful. It is exactly as described. Jen was a wonderful and thoughtful host -- she was responsive, esp. when we brought to her attention small glitches that are bound to happen despite the best of intentions, and she promptly help us to take care of the small glitches and even added a surprising personal touch to make our stay that much more enjoyable. We had a wonderful stay; we got to explore the Central Otago wineries, and got to enjoy the sunset at the cottage sitting on the porch in the back. Jen's cottage is between Alexandra and Clyde, and within short driving distance to some great wineries and to other parts of Central Otago. I find Alexandra an easy and pleasant city to shop for produce if needed. I look forward to staying with Jen again if I visit Central Otago in the future.

Lu was a great host, there were some issues with the wifi due to snow which she proactively reached out to us about and got us sorted nice and quickly. The place was lovely, clean, and exactly as we were expecting. We'd happily stay again!

Such a gorgeous cottage set in sunny position on the property. So peaceful and a great view from the deck. Liked that it was only 5 min drive out of Oamaru in a quiet rural setting. Very comfortable beds. And kitchen well equipped with all you need. Buddy the dog is delightful and loves back scratches! Dad and I will look forward to the next time we can stay . Highly recommended 😊

This was an incredibly stylish, comfortable and well equipped home. We really loved our stay here although it was short. It was perfectly located for our trip to Mt Cook. Di was also very responsive to issues raised during our stay. I would highly recommend.

This stay was the highlight of the trip for my two kids, who were fascinated by how fancy it was inside. It was a great option for something a bit different, but also was perfectly roomy and comfortable. Very clean, warm, inviting. Very easy to find even in the dark thanks to clear instructions. Would absolutely stay here again next time we're down this way.

This was great accommodation. Well worth the price for 3 couples. It was spacious so you always felt that there was plenty of room for all. A wonderful selection of utensils etc for cooking. The beds were great. We’d definitely stay here again.
