Cottage vacation rentals in Bell Island

We absolutely loved our stay!!! We didn’t want to leave. Beautiful surroundings, super clean, private space. We loved the hot tub and used it every night. What a beautiful place to relax and spent quality time with our family! We will definitely be using this spot as our family get away every summer!

This spot was great! Clean and cozy, in a great location with a little store across the street which was highly convenient. Comfy beds, loved the hot tub and was very happy to see that it’s covered incase of rain, and that there’s patio furniture! Would def come back

Our stay at Anne’s was great! We were a group of 6 people spanning 3 generations, ages 3 to 68, and this place met all our needs. Our kids loved the birds and chipmunks. My husband and I loved the access to the water and kayaks. My parents loved the view and hot tub. We were able to have family dinners and bbqs without any trouble. The surrounding nature was beautiful and was only a short drive to St. John’s or other historic towns (like Harbour Grace). Anne was very communicative and checked in proactively to make sure everything was alright. We are already planning our next stay. This remote cottage was perfect for us who were looking tor time to relax and connect, however the access to internet was handy for quick work check ins and a cosy evening watching a movie by the fire. Recommendations for any first time visitors to Newfoundland renting a vehicle - make sure to get one that is good for unpaved roads. Highly recommend this place.

Sheilas Willow Cottage is everything you expect. Peace & relaxation. Its super clean, beautifully laid out & the view is outstanding. This is our second time here and it never disappoints. Some of our family staying with us went above & beyond and booked it again later this year with some of their friends. Amazing!

Spent my birthday weekend here with the whole family. This place slept all of us easily, and the location is lovely. (The only noise we heard outside were the birds. And one squirrel.) Super peaceful with a perfect mix of water and trees. The road that takes you there is just gravel. It hadn't yet been graded for the season, so there were quite a few potholes. (Not the owner's fault, just think it's only fair to mention it.) We all made it safely, we just had to really take our time. My favourite room? The kitchen. Absolutely stunning! Well stocked. And I love that there was enough seating for all of us.

Excellent location and a gorgeous view of the ocean from the deck which has a propane fire pit and bbq.The BnB was very clean and well stocked it has everything you'll ever need for your stay.Carolann is very quick to respond if you have any questions about restaurants, places to see etc. We stayed a week and had no issues, I'd give it a 10 star!!!

Had a great stay! Place is very clean and well laid out, and the location is perfect. Right in the heart of a beautiful community. It is a shared space with a basement unit that is also available for rent which wasn’t made clear to us until the morning of our first day, but I suppose its also not something that you can plan for as you never know when both will be rented at the same time. Overall was a great stay and we’d definitely do it again!

We had our company retreat at Barb’s space and couldn’t have asked for a better spot to relax and unwind. She was super responsive and the church is truly one of a kind. Will be returning!

We absolutely loved this cottage! Everything was exactly as pictured, communication was almost instant. Everything we needed was at our finger tips with step by step instructions for anything we had questions about. We had the perfect weekend and even booked an extra night last minute.

After a pleasant stay last week, I decided to stay again. I wasn’t disappointed and I will be returning to stay again next week. Don’t think I need to say more, but the cottage was exceptionally clean and the host was quick to respond and friendly!

This place was so cozy, clean and peaceful! Gordon is a great host and was very responsive to messages. The cabin has little extras that made our stay perfect. And Bobby the golden retriever appreciated the couch cover so he good enjoy lots of couch naps :) We will definitely stay again!

We spent a lovely weekend at this Airbnb. This time we were able to do more hiking and exploring. Brigus South is gorgeous! The Airbnb is absolutely beautiful and clean. Our host was so easy to contact and was so helpful. We will definitely book it again in the future. Thanks for the nicest weekend.

This was a superb find. Such an amazing location - right on the lake with amazing views and lots of wildlife. We swam everyday and it was beautiful sitting on the deck watching the sunset. The house is spacious and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. This was the last place we stayed during our month here and it was #1. Thank you Noel - it was fabulous!

We loved our time at Brenda's Airbnb! It was nice to Holiday like a local for a few days. The lake was great and they have nice chairs to sit in on the dock and relax. We also took the kayaks out for a morning. The boat house is roomy and we had everything we needed. Having a pool table was fun. We couldn't have ask for kinder hosts. They checked in to see we were comfortable and to see if we needed any local tips and then they left us to enjoy their property. ...And we did😊

A peaceful haven to unwind and enjoy the area. The beds were very comfortable, shower was great, cottage was warm and cozy. The view was beautiful and we saw an iceberg the morning we were packing up to leave...what a treat!

This little gem was very clean. Its in need of a little TLC on the deck boards but very comfortable. its a lovely spot, well stocked with condiments, dishwasher, washer and dryer and its right on the lake. Lots if birds and water fowl. we found everything we needed and more. Tessa sent us an email the day we arrived should we need anything (we did not) We really enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to rebook in the future. thank you Tessa!!
