This place is great, very cozy. The pictures are very accurate. The four bedrooms are great, cozy, beds seem new and comfy, tv’s in each room. The overall place hasn’t been totally refurbished, but it’s clean and comfy. Location and parking is great, best keypad entry I’ve experienced. Host was super friendly and responsive. It’s a very small town so not a lot of restaurants, walking around the little downtown area was really nice. I definitely recommend.

One of the best places we’ve stayed. Was a little concerned about the set-up of the rooms before booking (shared “storefront” entrance). However, we ended up having nice conversation with the two other couples staying there in the entrance area. Room was immaculate. Room was decorated nicely. Room was comfortable. Although local restaurant and bar choices were limited, we would surely stay again. Great job!

it was a beautiful older home, and from someone that is always looking to stay in old homes and hotels it was great. the house had a very warm family feel. it's everything you would expect from an older home. I would definitely stay again when I come back to visit.

Helen's House was exceptional. It was clean, peaceful, and safe. Carrie was responsive, helpful, flexible, and very sweet. The house was gorgeous. The community is peaceful and definitely worth visiting. I couldn't recommend Helen's House more, it was perfection and a very welcome break from our stressful road trip. Also our dogs loved being there, they had so much room to run and also got to meet horses for the first time. If you are looking for a true vacation, where you can rest and find peace in this hectic life this is definitely the place.
