We have just returned from 2 weeks here and we had a fantastic time! Iain is so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble! The house is ideal and perfectly matches the description! We had two dogs and the fully enclosed garden meant we could fully relax. We had a few days where we were unlucky with the weather so the heated pool was ideal and Iain was kind enough to make it slightly warmer for us! The house is so close to everywhere but still feels so private and quiet. We loved having the peace, but yet having everything we needed on the door step. We’d return in a heartbeat!

Clear instructions for self access to the property and parking. Fast response if any need arises. Has a document with instructions, restaurant addresses... Always a few treats for hospitality as well as a few coffee pods. Always very clean, pleasant apartment with a large window that allows you to have a bright apartment.

Wonderful experience. Delphine and her housband are amazing, very helpful and reliable.the camping is very nice, the bungalow was perfect for us.There is everything you need there.the bar at the entrance is full of activities info and the habdmade pizzas are delicious.Our dogs were very happy too as there is a nice walk to the river nearby. At night you can see all the stars in the sky.I feel lucky having been there.

A Wonderful Stay in a Peaceful Nature Retreat We had an amazing time staying at this clean and cozy house located in a quiet, beautiful area surrounded by nature and birdsong. Every day was a pleasure for our family. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the jacuzzi, grilled delicious meals, played board games, and even had fun playing tennis at a nearby court. In the evenings, we relaxed with Netflix. The kitchen is well-equipped, and my wife loved cooking here—especially with the air fryer, which became an essential helper during our stay. There are lovely walking trails nearby, and the charming town of Carcassonne is just a short drive away. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the fresh, floral air in a truly peaceful setting.

Lovely house in a wonderful location, with friendly and helpful hosts. The house is in a quiet spot but only a very short walk from thr castle walls. Small shops, cafes, bars and restaurants are a five min walk away, with the modern town just a little further across the bridge. Toulouse is 40 mins by TGV. There's lots to explore, after which you can relax in the lovely hot tub. Thanks for a great stay, I hope we can visit again some time.

We spent 9 nights in Carcassonne and we're very relaxed and comfortable in Gildas house. It's in a quiet street just 2 minutes from some very french restaurants! The castle/medieval city which is fabulous was a 10 minute walk away and the lower town a 20 minute stroll. If we went again we would definitely stay there again.

the house allows you to share moments with others in the kitchen, living room, terrace and also allows everyone to have its own privacy. each bedroom has its own private toilet and bathroom. Decorated and tastefully appointed, this house leaves no one indifferent. and as a bonus the jaccuzi on the terrace. go there!

The ligement is spacious, even better than in the photos. It is a very pretty house with an old part and a large extension, all wood inside so comfortable, remaining cool in summer and warm in winter. It's very original and really beautiful. The garden is very large and perfectly quiet with a beautiful view of the fields and woods, no car traffic and hikes all around the hamlet from the house. The area is full of things to visit ( caves, castles, villages, ...) and hikes all more beautiful than each other in the forest or on the peaks. Agnes and her husband had left us very useful guides and gave us very good advice while remaining very discreet ( living further away). We felt perfectly good and wish we could have had longer. We recommend to all lovers of calm, nature and beautiful landscapes...

Absolutely wow! The house, the beautiful surroundings, and the charming markets in nearby villages were all incredible. Lieve is a fantastic host—always quick to respond and genuinely helpful. Highly recommended!
