Nice accommodation in an old and very authentic country house. We have stayed several times with Bernadette who is a very friendly hostess. When the season allows, lunch and coffee breaks in the garden are highly appreciated. Nice location to explore the Blaye area and surroundings. We recommend it.

Paula met us when we arrived to show us the apartment and was very helpful. The location is very rural and beautiful with walkable trails from the house. Well organized kitchen for cooking meals. Lovely yard to relax , we had a lot of rain but when the sun came out we really enjoyed sitting out. Paula and her family were very kind and respectful.

A charming cottage very close to st emilion town and very close to the station. Sophie was very kind to pick us up and really helpful with suggestions on good restaurants and places to visit. She was very responsive to every request. We really enjoyed our time there. Thanks for being a great host Sophie. I highly recommend this place.

The place is wonderful. The landscape is constantly changing, the tranquility and serenity is permanent. The setting is fantastic: The Rio Miera descending with lots of water, the impressive nearby mountain passes and the mountain cocido waiting to complete the day. The house, it is a well arranged and very nice cabin, with slight inconveniences and very justito utensils; but good heating. Although Revilla says that in Cantabria it does not rain, it rained 12 of the 15 days we were, but we loved it. A landscape like that has to be watered frequently and enjoyed. Angela is charming and always willing to attend you. It's been a great stay.

Was greated by Renee who was friendly and helpful. I was visiting family so didn't spend a huge amount of time in the cottage despite the Brittany rain but the property was clean, cozy and had everything I could have needed. Highly recommend.

We were there as a family for almost two weeks. The place is just as great as shown in the pictures. The surroundings are very nice and quiet, the beach is nearby and beautiful. Larger supermarkets are easily accessible by car. The surroundings are very quiet and you can hear the sea. The amenities in the house are excellent, clean and very comprehensive and there is plenty to discover for children. Communication was very quick if you had questions and the hosts are very courteous with positive communication. Overall, I can only recommend the stay, the stay was 11 out of 10.

If you want to disconnect to reconnect this is the place for you. the views are breathtaking and the place like few. We will definitely be back here. The best host impossible, always on the lookout and available.

We had a lovely stay at Sharon and Joop's home. The latter is well thought out, accessible, pleasant and you feel good there. Being able to park next to the accommodations is a real advantage. We really enjoyed this place which is very well maintained, very clean inside and outside the accommodation. The welcome was very nice from the hosts, always concerned about the well-being of the tenants. The explanations are clear. We recommend a visit to Sharon and Joop without worries.

We had a great time, it's a place where there's a lot of tranquility and you can enjoy the landscapes and nature. The cottage has everything, the truth is, it doesn't need anything, the location is very good since you are very close to many places of interest such as San Vicente de la Barquera, Cabezón de la Sal, the caves of Soplao, etc... There were two of us and 2 dogs and we enjoyed it a lot, especially our dogs since there is a private garden and it is quite large. The truth is that we were very happy in Manuel's cottage, we hope to return soon!

This place is a slice of heaven. The house was spotless, the view absolutely breathtaking. It was the perfect spot to unwind after a hike. We truly enjoyed our stay. The host was very responsive and helpful, and the property looked exactly like the photos. Waking up to beautiful morning views with horses grazing was magical. would definetly recommend and stay again.

We loved our stay. The view from the living area is spectacular. I really enjoyed mornings and evenings with the windows open and the view overlooking the mountains. The house was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The hosts were so kind and even went out of their way to give our kids welcome treats. They also gave us recommendations for hikes, including kid-friendly hikes, and restaurants in the area. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Virginie's place just outside Saint Emilion is a beautiful place to stay. Surrounded by vines on this working winery. the cottage is very spacious and has all the amenities we need. It was lovely to sit outside, surrounded by vines on a sunny afternoon, with a wine, playing a game of Bocce ! This is a much better option than staying in Saint Emilion, which is less than a 5 min drive away Would highly recommend Virginie's place to enjoy a wonderful few days in Saint Emilion

Arrived in a 9-person minibus, all retired and not necessarily good walkers, the place immediately filled us with both the services and the welcome of Kattalin's parents, unfailing simplicity, a kindness rare these days, a breathtaking landscape and view. On the last day, we allowed ourselves to grill with local products, on a sunny terrace, what more could you ask for. I think I'll keep this address in a corner of my mind because in half an hour, you're in Spain, caves and chasms nearby, welcoming restaurants and the sea 3/4 hours away. Thanks to Kattalin and her parents and their grandson who I know will be a farmer like we'd like to see. Thank you

We had such a wonderful stay at Claude’s place! The surroundings were absolutely peaceful and the property itself was picture-perfect—beautifully maintained and equipped with everything you could need. It was especially great for kids 😊 Claude was an exceptional host, welcoming us with a delicious bottle of local juice and sending us off with a generous plateful of homemade crêpes—such thoughtful touches that really made our stay extra special. It was the perfect place to unwind and recharge before heading back to Paris and then home. I would absolutely recommend staying here if you're looking for a quiet, charming escape.

We were hosted very well and welcomed by Anne. This farm stay enchanted young and old. We were able to visit the farm under the guidance of Anne, who gave us explanations that were both very interesting and informative. We were lucky enough to see calves, the last of which was born 3 days before our arrival. There is also the donkey Trot-Trot, the pony Sonic, the cats, the goats... A picnic and barbecue area was very useful, not to mention relaxing in the hot tub. I highly recommend this place, where I will gladly return. Thanks to Anne and her little family!! It was a real pleasure.

Jacqueline is a great host, very friendly and accommodating. The accommodation matches the photos, everything is well done and practical (towels, tissues, blanket). We had a great time. The only downside would be that for 10 people, 2 bathrooms (including one in the master suite) is a little tight and the fridge a little small, but when you come as a family you adapt and it works! We'll keep this address for next time. 😉 Thanks again for everything Jacqueline, it was great!!!! 🤗

Warm welcome accompanied by good advice for a walk around, the accommodation is faithful to the description in the listing, the basic products and amenities are present in the accommodation, the beds are made on arrival: which is very pleasant, bright accommodation, the shower is spacious, the "cabin" sleeping area is great, the environment is pleasant and quiet, the garage is a plus. Note that despite the blinds, we were awakened by daylight (but we are used to total darkness), it did not disturb our stay.
