This is a wonderful property to fully experience the George Town historic centre. Not only is it a transitional house from the olden days, the host took great care to decorate it with period pieces, including the cabinet of fine traditional China, paintings on the walls, etc. It really felt like being transported back in time. The location was also fantastic, walkable to all the popular spots and many great restaurants and eateries. Ke was a fantastic host, who was super responsive and accommodating. Our flight landed earlier and she allowed us to leave our luggage at the reception area before our check-in time. Ke also provided lots of recommendations, including advice for activities as I was travelling with my elderly parents. Would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for an authentic experience.

I absolutely loved the location of W home. It was ideally situated, making it easy to access nearby attractions, restaurants, and public transportation. Had a fantastic stay! The owner (meow meow) was super friendly and welcoming, and it was a pleasure chatting with her. The house looked exactly like the pictures – no surprises there, which is always a great thing! There was just a little bit of paint peeling here and there, but nothing that took away from the overall experience.I really loved the bathroom – especially the water pressure! It was strong and refreshing, unlike some apartments where the pressure is slow. The space was spacious and comfortable, making it feel like a home away from home.Definitely would stay again when I'm back in Penang. Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at Hakuna Matata! The place is clean, cozy, and fully equipped with everything I needed — a kitchen for cooking, a washer with laundry detergent provided, and a very comfortable bed that made for restful nights. There’s also a water dispenser, so we didn’t have to worry about buying bottled water, which was a great convenience. The view from the place is beautiful and adds a peaceful vibe. It’s also in a great location — close to areas with lots of delicious food options and near popular tourist spots, making it easy to explore the city. Overall, a very comfortable and convenient place to stay. Highly recommended!!!

Place is exactly what I needed what that time. Big comfortable flat, comfy bad, great view for really good price. City is not walkable at all, so was great location to go anywhere by taxi or bike. Thank you hosts for being so friendly and responsive.

Host was super clear with instructions and let us check in once the unit was ready tho was not 3pm yet. Stay was super clean and neat and kitchen sufficiently furnished. We drove there and requested a perking lot. All were easily accessible without any confusion. Stay felt super safe. Thank you for the great stay. Will definitely revisit:)

My family and I were so happy and enjoy to stay here. Clean, spacious and confortable place to have holiday break. Only the water pressure at shower room can be improved. Water pressure too low. Otherwise, it is perfect..

Stays for 5 days with my family for raya. Not that spacious but we got everything that we need. The place is walkable to lotus, mosque, mini mart and many more. One thing that the host might need to updated, which is the grill color that mismatch with the photo provided. Also the bathroom floor a bit sticky so it left a black thing on your sole. But that’s not a big deal. We enjoy our stays and it’s worth it. Definitely recommended. Thanks for being a great host!

The apartment is located in the Landmark building which caters for a lot of Airbnb units. The building is surrounded by a lot of shopping and food options but if you want to see Penang it would be best to drive/Grab. This unit is well looked after and extremely well optioned with free parking, big tv, Netflix, micro, water dispenser etc. etc and the block has an excellent gym and pool with great views. The Homey Planet team are very friendly and helpful and respond quickly to any questions or requests. We had the apt on the 33rd floor with amazing views of the Gurney shoreline and over the affluent Tg Tokong bungalows. On New Years Eve the view of the fireworks along the waterfront and across the island was just awesome. The furniture and beds are a bit hard wearing to cope with the high traffic - this could easily pass as a luxury apartment with an upgrade of the furnishings but at the current price it’s amazing value for money. Recommended!

Great place to stay and the view was amazing. Highlight of staying here was waking up and just looking out the window which is right next the bed. Everything was fine and have no complaints.
