Lovely stay. House was spotless and very spacious. The estate has great facilities (pool, spa, tennis courts, etc) and we loved having access to the lake for paddle boarding. Would recommend the private chef from Ballihoo on the estate. Alasdair was a very helpful and responsive host.

We had a lovely time at calm waters, the house is beautiful… the pictures don’t do it justice! The best thing about the house was the rooftop that gave us somewhere to sit in the sun all day, whereas other houses in the lake only benefited from morning or afternoon sun. The whole estate was fantastic - thank you

A private and secure apartment in a quiet area

We stayed here with four children (ages 2 to 6) and it was great. Lovely living area at the top of the house and plenty of space for everyone. We were very lucky with the weather and could eat outside on the balcony for most meals. Lots to do on the Lower Mill Estate for families. We would come again.

A very comfortable clean spacious place to stay with full range of facilities and wonderful hot tub. A great scenic outlook over the lake and easy walking access to the spa close by.

This property is amazing for all ages - we celebrated a birthday here and had the best time. The property is large enough that everyone has their own space but cosy enough that you still feel “together”. The location is beautiful and we made use of the pool and the lake. Lots of stubbing places to see locally and plenty of great restaurants. Recommend!!

Jon’s place was perfect for a weekend getaway. The villa had everything we needed, including towels, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. It was a few minutes downhill to pubs and cafes and everyone we met was friendly. Ideally located just 20 minutes from Cheddar Gorge, which was our main reason for visiting the area. We would definitely stay again.

A beautiful bright spacious modern house with wonderful views across the lake. It is just like the pictures or even better. The lounge and bedrooms are so comfortable and the kitchen is wonderfully equipped with everything you need. Communication was excellent. I would highly recommend staying here.

Our group had the most wonderful stay at Anthony’s place. The pictures do not do this home justice. The house itself is simply stunning and the surrounding gardens were spacious and perfect for the sunny weekend. There are some gorgeous walks, in the local area, walkable from the house itself. We also enjoyed a lovely lunch at the Red Lion pub down the road, would highly recommend. Anthony was an incredibly accomodating and responsive host, making the process feel smooth. Would stay again in a heartbeat! Thank you Anthony.

The place matched and exceeded the description and photos. It was exceptionally clean upon our arrival and well decorated. There was an abundance of cutlery, utensils, dinnerware, etc. Management company were extremely communicative before and through-out. Would 100% recommend this house for future traveler's.

Lucy is a very responsive host and really helpful. The Lodge is a peaceful place in a beautiful part of the Bristol/Bath countryside, so perfect for walking and enjoying the views. The pool was perfect and the lounge area great for relaxing!

This is second time we’ve stayed on Lower Mill Estate as it has great onsite facilities, so nice not to go too far with the little ones. We did the Cotswold Wildlife Park, it is a 30 minute drive but well worth it. Also Emerald Thai in Cirencester was delicious. The house itself had everything as described on the listing, lovely views over the lake and was enough space downstairs for 10 adults and 4 little ones. Two of the double rooms are on smaller side so wouldn’t recommend if you need space for a few travel cots. On the first morning a few of us had cold showers as hot water wasn’t on, but we figured it out waited half an hour and all was ok. We reported this along with one of double bed had broken slats which wasn’t ideal, but appreciate nothing could be done at the time. The contact was very apologetic about this and it didn’t hinder our stay. Thank you

We needed the property for 2 weeks, Robert suggested I go round to check it would work before I needed to confirm the booking which was honest. Nice amount of space for a family of four, close to the children’s’ schools and Clifton village a 15 minute walk away. Robert was responsive and helpful and we had a lovely stay.
