Wonderful house on Palma. It is 20 minutes from the airport so it is quick to arrive by car. The hosts gave us instructions to get there since the house is located in an area far from the core of Mazo. Think you'll need a car to get around because you can't get to anything by walking. Mario accompanied us to look for a place to dine when we arrived. He was always very kind. Both always attended to our questions. The house is huge and matches the description. Being so large there were some parts of the furniture (upper floor window) and the items that were not in very good condition. Also keep in mind that it is next to the sea. You can do laundry; there are a dishwasher, toaster, oven, sandwich box and is equipped with towels (incl. pool). The general feeling is that it is an amazing place but that lacks some maintenance so that the value is optimal. A luxury of place to enjoy with your chosen family.

We have been able to enjoy this lovely house in a paradise setting for the whole month of February. Although it is on the east side of the island, we still had a pleasant sunshine in the morning for almost the whole month. The house is spacious but also cozy and very private. The house was indeed very humid, the dehumidifiers removed liters of moisture daily. We felt very welcome in the house thanks to Michael and the house has all the comforts. Our children joined the last week, the second bathroom was very convenient then. We have been out and about a lot by car to explore La Isola Bella. Beautiful walks. Some are very steep with rolling stones. We also made a ‘star gaze’ tour at El Roque de Muchachos which was very beautiful and educational. Hopefully we will come back to Casa Inken

A perfect retreat. It offers " only " what you actually need , fitted very carefully and comfortably into a tiny space in beautiful secluded surroundings. And Stefanie is the perfect host in every possible way. What more could you ask for ? Possibly a car if you are going to be staying more than a few days as access to a bus / shops is not easy .

We loved our stay at Karoline and Joe's place! They are such wonderful people, that went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. From homemade lemon cookies, to their recommendations on where to go on the island, they were terrific hosts. They have created such a beautiful space, complete with handmade furniture, gorgeous views, and surrounded by nature and fruit trees. We spent hours relaxing in the sunroom and hot tub, listening to the birds, watching lizards sun themselves, and looking out at the ocean. As someone that works in sustainability, I appreciated all the supportive features they have incorporated into the site from the sunroom that heats the house to the furniture made from reclaimed wood. We were so sad to leave as we enjoyed the house and our interactions with Karolina and Joe so much! We hope to return to the island and stay with them again!
