Monthly Rentals in Barmby Moor

We initially booked Jo's place due to it's location being so close to our daughter's home and the very reasonable price. Jo (the owner) was very welcoming and we were pleasantly surprised to find the property warm, cosy with great amenities. As a person with limited mobility, it was also very helpful to be able to park our car directly outside the door of the property. There was also a large level walk-in power shower, which was amazing! To add a note of caution...the Farm Shop next door sells the most amazing produce. A large, and irresistible range of Gins, Vodka, Chutneys, preserves and baked goods. We will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay in Pocklington. Although for family reasons, our trip was cut short, the time we spent there was comfortable, near to the town but also near to lovely rural dog walks. Peanuts Place itself was clean, had everything we needed and some unexpected additional treats ( cookies, crisps) and basics provided in the fridge . We certainly intend to stay again.

We visited Holly Tree Cottage as a group of five friends for my birthday weekend and we had the most amazing time. Victoria really has thought of everything, it was so well equipped with all of the essentials but had so many added luxuries too. The house was so cosy, it really did feel like a home from home. Everything about the space was just perfect but the loft bedroom was a real standout for me! The location is perfect for having a peaceful relaxing weekend but having pubs / cafes that are easily accessible. I would most definitely stay again and would highly recommend!

We had 4 fabulous nights at the lodge and it was warm, cosy and comfortable. The lodge had everything you need and a great location to get in to the centre of York or to the local beaches. Highly recommend Sarah as a host who was always available and nothing was too much trouble. Our daughter particularly liked the large box of Lego and the books that were on offer. Great location, great accommodation and a great holiday.
