Great villa, great host, great location! The villa was clean, the territory is full of plants and beautiful flowers. Very green! It was a please to stay at Made’s place. We have been living in Denpasar for one year, but we are originally from the U.S. where we lived in the Blue Ridge Mountains, had a garden, and spent our evenings by the campfire. We were looking for a place to get away for our son’s 16th birthday and hoped for somewhere away from traffic and surrounded by trees. We could not have dreamed that we would find a place that would ease our homesickness while also allowing us to experience the true beauty of the real Bali. If we could move into the cabin, we would in a heartbeat. The staff is incredible and they immediately made us feel like family. We have officially named the cabin our “home away from home” and hope to return when we begin to feel homesick. If you love the outdoors, gardens, trails, flowers, and campfires, you will not be disappointed.

Putu’s Bamboo House is an hidden gem! Being in the middle of the jungle is an amazing experience. Putu and his nephew Komang showed me the beautiful surroundings and gave me the opportunity to join family’s ceremony. I could not be more grateful!
