Vacation rentals in Ballymagorry

As I drove through the gates to Keenaghan Cottage it was as if I had stepped through the looking glass. I was immediately transported to a time and place in the past where modern comforts and amenities seamlessly coexist, making for an incredibly exciting, yet warm, welcoming, and tranquil holiday destination. From the “welcome home” sign in the kitchen, to the wood stove in the living space, to the most comfortable bed and linens – Lisa has thought of everything, and then some! Thank you, Lisa, for every thoughtful and luxurious touch. Your ability to create an environment that is so conducive to embracing rest and relaxation, in an otherwise hectic world, and share it with those of us lucky enough to find it, is amazing. Thank you, again, from the bottom of my heart and soul!!!

This house was perfect and Mary and Peter are great hosts. We stayed 9 days and made this our base for exploring Donegal and parts of Northern Ireland. The house is convenient to Derry and Letterkenny and easy drives to Malin Head and Fanad Head, as well as the Giant's Causeway. We also took the train from Derry to Belfast (on Mary's suggestion) to visit the Titanic Museum. This was an excellent day trip. The house is in the country and it is very quiet and peaceful. As the description says, the standing stones are just a short walk away and are very impressive. The best part of our stay was getting to know Mary and Peter a little bit. We had great conversations about the stones and other local history. Mary and Peter are very friendly and knowledgeable and clearly love hosting people. When/if we come back to Donegal, this is our first choice as a place to stay. Highly recommended.

From the minute I booked this for my friends birthday right up to the day we left Joan was amazing and I would recommend her place to anyone looking to stay in Derry/londonderry, even down to the wee touches and all she was amazing thank you again for everything

A beautiful quaint cottage in a quiet village surrounded by lovely countryside. Easy to find and also easy to get to the many visitor attractions in the area. Sigrid and John were welcoming hosts, with loads of information about things to do in the area. They were part of what made this stay so memorable. Looking forward to booking another visit soon.

The Byre is both charming & cozy, located on a beautiful, serene piece of land. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by the two sweet, adorable donkeys! Helen thoughtfully left us homemade scones & butter, which made for a perfect breakfast before our morning trip into Derry :) Our evenings were spent relaxing by the fire, which wood was graciously provided to use & easy to locate in the shed just outside. Next time we'll have to book for a longer stay so to explore the surrounding areas, especially the Neolithic monuments 🍀

oh wow!! what a beautiful place, and a fabulous host! soo clean & tidy, very modern apartment. couldn't believe how gorgeous it was when we walked in! absolutely loved it! ( we like to go away alot & I would be fussy where I stay, this place got a 10/10 from us! 15 min drive into the town, beautiful little town, first time in dunfanaghy pretty little town, with lots of restaurants & bars. the host was absolutely fantastic, sent us messages through out our stay, offered a lovely gesture on the morning of departure. amazing host. already on checking when next available to get back to here, we drove from belfast, roughly 2 hours, can't wait to come back. ps the place was absolutely spotless! for me personally this was first thing I always look out for! kyra David & isabella.

Joseph's place was perfect for our stay to visit family close by,it was a warm spacious and spotless house .it was well equipped and the basket of food essentials left when we arrived was very thoughtful we'll definitely stay again

Beautiful air b and b, full of character with the most amazing views. Jacinta was so easy to deal with. Would love to return!!

Clean, modern, everything one needs for a fine stay! Unfortunately, weather and time did not permit us to use the beautiful backyard! Neither did we see or check out the pool table/games room. Our host was helpful and quick to respond. Free Parking was appreciated!
