Greenshadows - a detached 16th-century Scottish cottage fronting River Leny with views of Ben Ledi in the heart of the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park. The house has a rich history. Locally called ‘The Pink House’, it was a safe haven during the Jacobite uprising. The author of ‘The Junglebook’ is thought to have resided at Greenshadows for a short period. Wonderful period home in Perthshire in the Scottish Highlands, in a stunningly special romantic location on Loch Earn. Great for a 1-2 week holiday, or for a short break. Walking, watersports, etc - or just relaxing! Excellent location for exploring - day trips in all directions. Easy to reach - Edinburgh or Glasgow 75 minute drive.
