No 27 Killarney Holiday Village - Great Location!

MariaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
As we were arriving at 4am, Denise kindly upgraded us to No 1, because it was easy to access as right next to the car park. The house has been recently refurbished. It had everything we needed, perfectly clean, very comfortable beds, fluffy towels, beautiful views. The welcome pack of tea, soda bread and biscuits was very welcome as we were unable to buy supplies on the way as we drove through the night from Dublin airport. The drive was from Dublin was easy, the check in was easy, the house was perfect and our hosts generously allowed us to be relaxed about our check out time too, which was much appreciated. There's a shop and a hotel with restaurant moments away, it's a longer walk into Killarney but doable. It's a very beautiful part of the world. We were visiting relatives nearby so hope to return soon.
The living area features a comfortable sofa adorned with teal cushions, inviting relaxation. A light-filled window offers views of the surrounding greenery. A small dining table and chairs are situated nearby, complemented by a cozy reading chair, creating a welcoming atmosphere.

ROCK COTTAGE, Wild Atlantic Way, Schull,West Cork

MarkRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed at Rock Cottage in the middle of January and although the weather was cold, the welcome from Jacqueline and Jonathan couldn’t have been warmer. We received a tour of the property and grounds on our arrival, and the home-made banana bread and selection of local breakfast produce was very welcome after a long drive (there was even some treats for our dog Harris). The kitchen was well equipped, the bathroom large with a good powerful shower (again, there was some lovely local toiletries supplied), and snuggling up in front of the real fire on cold nights was very cosy. For warmer days, there is a lovely outdoor furniture set where you can enjoy the sun surrounded by well-established gardens. You have access to a laundry room with two washers and dryers, iron etc and this was fantastic especially for our extended stay. Jacqueline and Jonathan are friendly, responsive to any requests, have great knowledge of the area, and were most welcoming. Lovley stay.

Countryside 4 bedroom house in peaceful location.

The holiday started well as we were greeted by Maureen who gave us a warm reception and showed us around the property. The property is amazing, and it is stylishly furnished and equipped with all manner of household items including hundreds of toys which occupied our granddaughter throughout the week. The property is located on a hill with panoramic views, and we enjoyed watching the sunsets every evening. We were fortunate with the weather which was dry but, in any event, there was plenty to occupy ourselves with within the property including a television and various equipment such as the dishwasher and washing machine which made our life quite easy. We also appreciated the beach equipment including chairs which helped us to enjoy the seaside which we visited virtually every day. This was undoubtedly the best holiday property we have experienced, and we are likely to return again next year for more of the same.

Wow, just wow. Evelyn’s place is set in the most stunning location. If what are looking for is peace and quiet, while still only a 10 minute spin to shops and pubs then this is the house for you. You are surrounded by mountain, and are overlooking an amazingly beautiful lake. The night sky here is to die for. The house itself is very spacious, extremely well equipped, warm and comfortable. Rossbeigh beach only 10 minutes drive away is miles long, surrounded by Mountain View’s and sand dunes. I will 100% return to Evelyn’s house
