House vacation rentals in Ballarat

We stayed here as a family of four while our teenage sons competed in a rowing regatta at Lake Wendouree, and it was a great choice. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. We picked this house becvause of the BBQ area and the pool. The pool was ideal—warm thanks to the solar heating and well-maintained. Being indoors, we could use it despite Ballarat’s cooler evenings. An ideal way to relax and recover after a long day at the regatta. Overall, the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and we'd happily stay here again.

We stayed at David’s Airbnb for the long weekend and loved our stay. Fresh flowers and chocolates were left as a lovely welcome, the house was spotless and has everything you could ask for. The pool was perfect for the hot weekend we had too. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

What an absolutely beautiful place! It was sweltering hot when we stayed and yet the beauty of the house , its entertaining area and the furnishings inside and out were so mind blowingly beautiful the chest was quickly forgotten. Whoever owns the house is very cultured, well travelled and has an eye and we are very grateful that they share it with people like us. Beautiful. And the restaurants nearby are exceptional. We ate at Sault and it was better than most Melbourne restaurants in our opinion.

Everything was just perfect at Nigels place. Views are picturesque, beds very comfortable, ensuite was beautiful with a really large shower and bathtub with spectacular views. Oh and the pool was our favourite bit. It got to a really comfortable heat during the day also. We absolutely loved our stay and can't want to visit again.

There is so much more to the property than what is advertised. Stunning views of the valley from deck and master room. Outside area offers a huge space for entertaining and fury friends, combination of both deck and grass!. House was great size for a party of 6, plenty of space ie living , dinning area and spacious bedrooms. Pool great size and accommodating, not heated was a tad on the cold size but the weather sadly didn’t help with heating it up. Location is perfect!! for local amenities and popping into Daylesford itself. It is the country so unwanted guests did appear, part of the experience I say. Communication was superb from host, book with confidence! Great gem just outside of Daylesford.

The house is absolutely beautiful, it is kept very clean and tidy. The outdoor pool area is great spot to relax. Very close to Ballarat so plenty of options for restaurants and food. Highly recommend.

Great property, wonderfully location and absolute amazing architecture, outstanding interior design and an overall sense of comfort. Dayget made it very easy to check in and out. The whole process was very seamless. We didnt want to leave and will definitely be back!!

We absolutely loved our stay in Creswick. The house was extremely spacious and had amazing amenities and a beautiful kitchen and living area that was perfect for spending time together. The view from the house was gorgeous and made it feel extra special and private, with the bonus of it still being in a quiet residential street. We found Creswick to be perfect for a relaxing weekend away. The supermarket, cafes and restaurants were really nice (special mention to the French bakery/cafe) and had everything we needed. Creswick was also the perfect base camp for us to explore Daylesford and Castlemaine during the day. We cannot recommend this stay enough!

Our team had a great time and the house was perfect. It's location, opposite the golf course, and within a 2 minute walk up the road to the RACV resort was a bonus. Beautiful area. Loved sitting out on the balcony watching the roos and rabbits spread across the golf course enjoying the last minutes of the day as the sun set. We will definitely be back. Thankyou Alex :-)

Gerry and Jenni have been the most amazing hosts. I messed up my first booking with the dates and they so helpful in changing the dates. On arrival we were greeted with the most beautiful accommodation with lots of added extras that made the first night a pleasure. Our weekend spent in their house was so peaceful and comfortable. All instructions were so easy to follow, the house was very clean and beds very comfortable. I had my mother and aunts staying with me, who are all in their mid 80s. The house was so perfect for them moving around and using the amenities. Thankyou again for making our special weekend so perfect.

This was a lovely home to stay in. We really enjoyed the space and the fact that it was so close to many sites. Sovereign Hill is just up the road, the supermarket was 5 mins away and the lake was just a short drive. Also loved the electric blanket for the one cold night we had 😊.

We absolute loved our stay at the Creswick Retreat. We spent so much time on the back deck enjoying the weather, and our dog loved the huge backyard! Walking distance to the main street in town with some excellent cafés and restaurants for a small town 😍 We were also very pleasantly surprised to see how close the lake was and enjoyed a dip on the hot summer days!

Clean, roomy home. As described. Peaceful surroundings and walkable park. Close to shops and easy drive to shops for grocery. Not too far from town or attractions. Family friendly. Responsive host and super friendly. We had fun with the kids in this home. We were very comfortable with 6 adults and 3 kids. Thank you Kate!

I visited from out of state, so initially finding the place was a slight mystery as maps wanted me to make some illegal turns. However, once I found it getting back everyday was super easy. The place is exactly as shown in the listing, very spacious, clean, quiet, and worth the money. I would highly recommend it to others!

Lovely private place with a large fenced backyard which was great for our children and dogs. Would definitely stay again.

Narelle is a great host. The house is beautiful - so clean, lovely new kitchen and bathroom (water pressure is amazing) and in a great location so close to everything we needed. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Oh….. my….. goodness! If you are looking for a cross between Alice in wonderland and Downtown abbey this is the place! Wonderful, beautiful, unique. Large entertaining rooms, multiple bathrooms, comfortable beds with pristine linen. So well stocked it felt like home. So many amenities and extras. Ice in the freezer, spices in the cupboards, laundry detergent and plenty of towels. The garden was a relaxing and lush oasis. We would love to come again!!!

We had a wonderful stay - my toddler loved the toys, my husband loved the shower, I loved the piano & we all loved the chickens & the beautiful garden! The beds were super comfortable & it was so nice to have breakfast provisions. Highly recommended!

The place was perfect. It has all you need. It has beautifully renovated bathrooms, a kitchen that has all you need to make a wonderful meal. It was in a good location too. A fire pit for cold days and a BBQ for warm ones :-)
