A Hidden Gem in Ambon: After thoroughly searching for accommodation in Ambon, I was thrilled to find Solim House, it truly exceeded all our expectations. First off, the photos don’t fully capture the warmth and charm of the homestay provided by Ibu Irene. We had the entire house to ourselves, and a tranquil environment surrounded by birds and crickets at night. Each morning, we had a excellent breakfast that we could customise depending on our mood (highly recommend satay and nasi campur!). The bed was incredibly comfortable with guling pillows. The house was allways impeccably clean and the neighbourhood had plenty of local warungs, and our hosts went above and beyond to arrange motorbike rentals and seamless airport transfers. These lovely ladies were wonderfully patient with our attempts to speak Indonesian and were gracious and attentive hosts throughout our stay. 11/10 recommended

The villa is very comfortable and in a prime position overlooking the waterfront. The staff are very helpful and communication with our host was swift and efficient. Recommended.

This must be a country house worth recommending, especially for a different breakfast every day. Irene and her family are very kind and friendly. They will be especially care of guests and provide services as much as possible. We like the atmosphere of this family~

An ideal place to explore Ambon. Spacious bedrooms and a nice, spacious general room. From terrace sea view. Through a staircase you can easily walk to the local beach. Here we were also able to rent canoes. From the location you can walk to the coast in a few minutes, through the quiet and cozy Suli. Here you will find very frequent running van (or taxis) that will take you to Ambon or closer eateries. The owner (easily accessible by phone and or via the app) was very helpful with arranging transport to and from the airport, but also within Ambo. The managers are nice people and also very helpful. Great breakfast. Recommended as far as I'm concerned.

Super nice host, the place is just in front of the beach, i slept so well with the natural wave sound from the beach. And nearby there is a lot of local restaurants where you can get some snack or fresh coconut.
