Lovely, homely place to stay while exploring the local area. The outdoor area and hot tub were especially great and it was all very clean and comfortable. Thanks for having us!

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Towpath Cottage. The property is cozy and adorable, with lots of really lovely personal touches. We wouldn't have changed a thing and would definitely stay at the same property again if we are ever back in Chester. The property is also in a beautiful area, right on the canal and within easy walking distance of the tien centre and train station.

We stayed here last year while visiting family too. It's a great location - easy to get places but just tucked away from busy roads so it's very peaceful. It has everything we needed and parking was secure. We did see Robin once and were able to have a nice chat - we felt that it would be easy to approach him if we needed anything. Great place to stay - would recommend highly

I chose Sue’s place for its optimal location—close to Chester and the perfect place to break up a long journey from London to Holyhead. It didn’t disappoint: it’s a unique airbnb with a warm, welcoming and accommodating host. If you have children, you will welcome the safety of this gated site; extensive garden for them to run wild in; and the little touches (covered bar area, teddy, outdoor toadstool, guitar etc) that inspire them to put down the virtual and engage in the real.

Fabulous 2 night stay. The cottage is beautiful and extremely well equipped. Lovely private garden with a hot tub and garden furniture. Lovely views from the beautiful bathroom veranda. Everything is here that you could wish for, it’s like home from home. Close enough to walk into Chester in 35 mins. Excellent communication from Vanessa with clear instructions to get to and access the property. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Lovely house in a fabulous peaceful location. Jacob supplied the code on the day of arrival and we had no problems accessing the property. Everywhere was spotless and the kitchen had everything you could ask for. We did not eat in the main dining room as the kitchen table was big enough for us and had lovely views of the garden Chester Zoo and City Centre both only 10 minutes away. We only spent 2 nights there but would certainly recommend and visit again.

This is the second time we have stayed here and it never ceases to please. Angela is a marvelous host, very communicative and very happy to help. The Christmas decorations were a lovely surprise, they really do go above and beyond. 10/10

Absolutely delightful stay - perfect! Super cosy and comfortable, and everything you could possibly need. Loved the personal welcome on the chalk board, that was so sweet! Literally has everything you could possibly need for a stress-free stay, including continental breakfast items and a fab selection of hot drinks. Thank you for everything!
