Lake house vacation rentals in Attersee

Constanze's spacious lakeside home was a gem of a find! An idyllic location; gardens leading down to the jetty & lake ; amazing views across to mountains; excellent scenic walks to either end of the lake; train station 5 minutes walk away with regular, reliable service to Salzburg & elsewhere. We made the best use of this beautiful house & location & the wood burning stove was very much appreciated on the cooler evenings! Constanze was a great host, was there to meet & greet us & with excellent communication via phone too & we have no hesitation in recommending her lovely home.

We stayed at apartment no 6. The other rooms seem to have better views but the views from our room were okay. The location is great and the place was clean. There is only an electric kettle in the room. We checked the previous reviews and brought our own stuff. The seecafe next to the accommodation is cute and reasonably priced. Please note that if you’re coming by car, park at P1. Parking at P2 is only available till 20:00.

Everything was as described and we were very satisfied. Even the lake access was no problem for our three grandchildren, about 7 years old, but interesting and just right. On the last day we were able to stay 2 hours longer and enjoy the lake again.

The house is very comfortable, but more importantly provides a genuine Austrian experience. The interior and furniture is comfortable and authentic. it is situated directly on the lake walk. we enjoyed seeing cows outside the window, and snow capped mountains. This is an area of Austria you should not miss!

We didn't miss anything at all. The comfort offered on site is truly exceptional and makes the stay extra special. Hot tub and sauna offered perfect opportunities to relax. We will be happy to come back! Many thanks for everything!

Great place with a magnificent terrace and lake access

Excellent stay in peaceful village surrounded with mountains. Turquoise water lake is in a short walking distance. Olesja and her husband were extremely friendly and hospitable and all information about local attractions were provided. Very pleasant stay! Definitely will return to Hintersee on my next visit! Thank you.

In all of my travels, this by far has been one of the very best experiences. The wonderful hosts, Martin & Karin are the most responsive, hospitable, accommodating and friendly hosts I’ve ever dealt with. The house is a traditional style home fully equipped with all amenities. It’s spotlessly clean and situated in a peaceful street with amazing views of the mountains. I HIGHLY recommend this wonderful place to stay. Thank you both so much, Martin and Karin.

The place was very clean, stylishly furnished and located in a quiet and beautiful location – perfect for relaxing. Silvia is an extremely friendly and attentive host who took care of everything. As a surprise, there was even a small guest gift. We will be happy to come back!

Ingo and Barbara were pleasant and friendly, with willingness to give advices on possible trips in the surrounding. We could rely on them in case we would need anything to discuss. Equipment of the household was highly above standard. Even out of season is opened nearby restaurant. The whole stay was refreshing.

This is one of the nicest Airbnb properties that we have stayed it. It was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. Rouven gave us lots of helpful tips of places to visit which made our holiday better. The location was excellent for visiting Salzburg and the surrounding lakes. There was loads of space at the property for a family of 4 and the garden was lovely.

Bernhard was a very good and friendly host. The self-check-in worked smoothly. Bernhard was absolutely reliable for questions. The apartment exceeded our expectations, especially considering the size and is a great starting point for excursions towards Salzburg and the surrounding area. For visitors with smaller children, it is worth noting that the sleeping area is designed as a gallery. This can be seen from the photos, but we were kind of surprised - but definitely positive in our case. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked for our needs, we were also very pleased about the Nespresso coffee machine and corresponding capsules (guest gift). The accommodation was a good base for our wonderful holiday.

Christoph's place is immaculate and as described in the photos. Communication with Christoph was very easy as well as check-in. Very nice place to stay overall :)

Yagaweh, this is pure vacation and relaxation! A beautiful house in a beautiful place...secluded location, hikes from the front door, views of the lake, crazy sunsets and jealous three watching hikers ;) We had a great time and were lovingly looked after by the host all around. Thank you!

What a wonderful view around this apartment. The apartment definitely met our expectations. It was sparkling clean and everything we needed was present. Excellent base for day trips, mountain hiking, etc. Gerald and his wife are very nice and helpful people. Many thanks, we loved our stay with you. As far as we are concerned, recommended.
