We had an exceptional stay at this villa! Everything went perfectly from start to finish. Abe was a great host, very welcoming and always available. The house was superb, perfectly maintained, with a pool that made the whole family happy. We had a friendly and warm time, in an ideal setting to reunite with family. Abe didn't hesitate to give us valuable advice throughout the stay, which really enriched our experience. We recommend this rental without so much as a second thought and hope to return very soon!

Beautiful home in a beautiful location. Accessible to many different beaches and day trips, would highly recommend.

We spent a night during our bike trip and it was very nice to rest, enjoy the ocean (very easy by bike) and cook! We particularly enjoyed the fresh vegetables, eggs, and bread available by hosts!

Diego is one of the best hosts I’ve worked with on Airbnb! He allowed a very flexible check in, he is wonderfully communicative and friendly, and very energetic. His country home is a labor of love, and perfect for a family to stay. Unique experience about 10 minutes outside Setenil de las Bodegas, as he has chickens, turtles, turkeys, and all manner of produce growing. The showers were hot, the beds comfortable, and the kitchens well stocked. Great outdoor spaces for relaxing. The one thing is about the third bedroom/loft; it is a VERY short ceiling, so our third couple (who are on the taller side) preferred to sleep on the sofa bed. Would certainly recommend Diego’s home to anyone and would return.

We had a great time in Ardales. Our highlight was the pool and it looks even better than in the photos. There are eight sunbeds, an outdoor shower and the surroundings are covered in artificial grass. The house had everything that is necessary for a group stay and a lot of beautiful areas to sit and relax. Unfortunately, the lake is not there anymore and the surrounding area is really dry due to a lack of rain. However, there are lakes in the area to do water activities to make up for it and swimming in the pool was our favorite activity anyway. The contact to José was helpful and informative. We would definitely come back.

Sandra and Fausto were excellent hosts. The cottage was exactly like the pictures, very charming with lots of space both inside and out. We especially loved the great hot showers after a day on the beach! The cottage is very quiet with great sunsets on the terrace. The beach umbrella came in very handy! There are several good grill restaurants close by on the main road. It is under 2 kilometres from Olhão which has several excellent supermarkets and only 25 minutes by car from the airport. And close to some fantastic beaches. This part of the Algarve is so much better than on the other side of Faro. A great 10 days in a lovely place with super hosts.

We had a lovely stay with Jens and Sarah! The stay is a haven of peace and tranquility within a beautiful setting. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful and the cottage itself was perfectly clean and very nicely decorated. You can visit and do all kinds of things in the area but it is also very nice to just enjoy the quiet area. We felt at home very soon and hope to come back later!

Hard not to fall in love with this place. Everything one could dream of. It’s a very relaxed environment with two very cool humans, whom which have built a little town of their own if you don’t say! We were lucky enough to have a little tour of the place, hear about how it all started. Went horseback riding with Chris which was incredo. Swam in the pond, sat in the sauna but mostly just enjoyed the view. And hung out with the doggos. Thank you. Will definitely come again when I return to Portugal.

We loved the spacious house and garden: plenty of different places to find shade or a breeze other than the roof terrace (plenty of good outdoor chairs etc). The air-con in the bedrooms is very quiet. The footpath through the nature reserve is a 5 min walk away down the quiet road (a variety of wildlife still in mid-summer). Here is also the one restaurant available by walking. Swimming places would need a bike or car. We followed the driving instructions on Google Street View before arriving: it really helped in recognising the turnings.
