If you like to cook, you'll enjoy the fully stocked housewares and high end kitchen appliances. New washer and dryer are located in structure behind cottage to maximize your living space inside the cottage. Beautiful bathroom with granite decor, vaulted ceiling and skylight. The private cottage is all yours. You have direct private 24/7 access to the cottage through the driveway gate. The back yard garden, patio, fire pit and jacuzzi are shared. I enjoy meeting and talking to my guests, providing advice and recommendations (if requested) about local highlights and places to explore in the nearby nature (parks, hiking trails, great beach locations). I enjoy back yard BBQs with guests, friends and neighbors. This lovely cottage is walking distance from the nightlife, restaurants, and bars of both downtown Redwood City and downtown San Carlos. There's a beautiful park at the end of the block. Plus, it's a convenient commute for Silicon Valley. Street parking is easy in this residential neighborhood. 15 minute walk to the Redwood City Caltrain station. Due to the great location close to downtown and Caltrain, you WILL hear trains passing through and some vehicle traffic from the main road nearby. For your safety and security, external security cameras cover all external access points to the cottage, automatically recording any motion activity day or night, providing live remote monitoring and alerts. Later, head for the ground-floor pools and hot tub. 1000 sq ft of space on the top floor. Queen size adjustable firmness air mattress with clean beddings available upon request to be set up in the living room. You will be able to access the entire unit, 2 Swimming pools, and the hot tub. I will be available by text, phone or email throughout the stay. The quiet and beautiful setting is surrounded by trees. Within walking distance to CalTrain station, San Antonio shopping center, and Whole Foods, Trader Joe, movie theater plus numerous boutiques. Major tech companies located nearby include G00gle and Faceb00k. Stanford University is within a 10 minute drive. A short 5-10 minute walk to the Cal Train stop but the unit is not impacted by any train noise. The bus stop is conveniently around the corner to take you to Downtown Castro Street or Stanford University and beyond.

Gorgeous, comfortable two bedroom Suite

Our light-filled lower level suite has been fully remodeled (completed Feb 2019) and includes two bedrooms (up to 4 Queen beds), a large media room with a fold-out couch bed, and one full bathroom. Total space is approximately 1000 square feet with a private entrance. Amenities include all the perks of our media room and a kitchenette. We wash all linens included Duvet covers between guests. This separate entry room opens to a beautiful one-acre garden with a pool, jacuzzi, cable TV/wireless, and parking. We are just off 280 and Woodside Rd., 4 miles from Stanford. It is peaceful and quiet and we are hands-off hosts. There is no access to the house and the room does not have a frig, microwave or dishes. We are set up for independent guests who want to come and go on their own and enjoy local restaurants in Woodside, Palo Alto or RWC. Please note the very short entry door.

Within walking distance to public transport, and accessible from major highways in Silicon Valley. Stanford Univ. is under 2 miles away, and California Ave with shops and excellent restaurants is within minutes. We have Strong WIFI with plenty of work spaces, including a desk in a small office space.
