Great place for a relaxing weekend getaway. Plenty of parking, also easy commute to Newcastle/Sunderland/Durham.

great place for a family getaway, there were 11 of us so the games room and hot tub were prefect. close enough to Barnard castle to go out for dinner, beautiful surroundings, what's not to like

Love this place, right by the beach, and a beautiful beach too. The host was so responsive and helpful from start to finish. The place was immaculately clean, just as described, lovely and warm with all the utensils and appliances working exactly as they should. Easy to walk to town, with a Co-Op and pubs and restaurants there. Shower pretty good too. Family bathroom and a small but useful en-suite to the main bedroom

We had a lovely break. The position of the caravan overlooking the sea is one of the best on the site and it had everything we needed. We’d very happily go back for another stay.

Had a great weekend at Tumbler Rock Retreat with 8 family members and my dog. The house is beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and has everything you could possibly need. The garden was lovely and private with a fabulous hottub and plenty of seating. Really could not fault the house and there were 2 delicious cream sponges from the local bakers, bread and fresh milk waiting for us on arrival. The host Anthea was very friendly and gave us very clear instructions. The local village was great too with many nice places to eat that were also dog friendly. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

We loved our stay at Signal House. House is absolutely beautiful. It’s in such a lovely location with fantastic views along the coastline. Easy to walk into Amble or along coastal path in both directions. House amazing, spotlessly clean. We hope to come back some time. Thankyou Tracey for a great stay x

I'm always a bit apprehensive about staying in caravans but this one was lovely! so spacious, comfy, cosy and the views made it even better!

Had a wonderful stay at the ‘Quirky Coastal Retreat’. Space for all the family to sit around the table and celebrate a big 80th birthday. Kitchen is great to cook in and well equipped with everything you need. Peaceful surroundings and the nature reserve opposite was great for walking the dog!

This was our second stay at the house and it was just as excellent as the first time round! Really spacious, beautiful decor and a wonderful welcoming host. It's also perfectly located for exploring Northumberland. Looking forward to booking with Stuart again soon!

A very comfortable house, had everything we needed. Tracy was very helpful with suggestions for local area, and provided a very good travelcot and highchair for our granddaughter of 10 months.

Always pleased to stay at Susans place. Everything to hand that is needed. Quiet. Easy access to family and friends. All amenities and most importantly an EV charger. Will be back as soon as i get back on my feet after my op. Thanks very much. Derek and Mina

Very cosy and clean and comfortable. Well equipped for just us three people. Location great and literally 15 minutes walk to our relatives who also live in Widdrington Station.

We had a fabulous stay at High Tide. The place was spotless and very comfortable. We didnt want for anything. Ben was very responsive and accommodating when we had to change iur dates. Very dog friendly. Would highly recommend and will be back

We stayed for a week and would definitely recommend to come and stay here It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped .The beds were so comfy and had pure white bedlinen .The kitchen had everything that you could need and we enjoyed looking out at the view from upstairs at different times of the day.Alnmouth has some lovely restaurants and a couple of lovely cosy pubs and is well worth a visit. If you need a place to chill out this it ,we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return one day .

We had not been to the area before but were delighted with the accommodation and with Cullercoats. The cottage was stylish and luxurious, ticking all the boxes for a really comfortable bed, great shower, well-equipped, excellent kitchen and everything you needed for a short stay or a longer one. The upstairs ensuite bedroom had a lovely sea view and was really peaceful. The downstairs double room and separate bathroom were practical as we had family visiting. The neighbourhood was quiet and friendly and the location was superb - the cottage was minutes from the beach, a small supermarket and the Metro. You could walk from the door into Whitley Bay or Tynemouth. The beach was excellent and we swam in the sea. The coastal pathway between Whitley Bay and North Shields with its separate cycle lanes will be a wonderful asset and parts of it are already completed. We settled in really well and very quickly and were a bit sad to leave. Thank you to Vikki.

We had a wonderful long weekend stay at this excellent cottage. The property was spotless, well-maintained, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing break. The location is fantastic—peaceful, yet conveniently situated for exploring the surrounding area. The only minor suggestion we have is that a name or sign on the property would make it easier to locate on arrival. Aside from that, everything was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already looking forward to returning soon! Highly recommended.

Great location. A really cosy country retreat. Very well appointed kitchen...equipped for real cooking! Very responsive hosts before & during our stay. Lots of helpful pre-visit information supplied, especially good places to eat like the Fish Shack at Amble & The Angler's Arms in Weldon - both dog and dog owner friendly!

Exactly what i need in terms of accommodation and location, especially with 2 large dogs. Sean has been so helpful regardless of the day or time, not that there have been any major issues. The house is a real home-from-home, very well equipped and comfortable. Sean's understanding of my personal situation and the flexibility of the forward booking has provided me with real peace of mind. Highly recommended.

Such a beautiful cottage with everything you could want and more. Super easy being so close to the A1 and meant our mini trips out to eat or to the beaches at Seahouses, Goswick and Holy Island were so easy to get to!! Makes a really useful change for us as we normally stay further inland. A safe little courtyard, with no direct road access also adds to the sense of being away from it. The incredible bathroom and log burner are huge, much enjoyed and indulged in, bonuses ❤️

This is a stunning place to stay. So peaceful and yet just off the A1 so great location for coast, country and city. The photos don't do the views justice. Very clean and comfortable with very friendly hosts. Would highly recommend.
