Mansion vacation rentals in Asheville

Great location in a walkable neighborhood of Black Mountain, NC. House is warm and inviting. We enjoyed our time there. Rooms are small and it is hard to imagine 12 people staying in this place. We are a family of 8 and it seemed a bit cramped at times. If you plan to eat meals together at the house it would be difficult to have seating for all; there is no real kitchen table. Kitchen is cozy, but they do have two, one upstairs and one downstairs in a cleverly concealed staircase. There is no dishwasher, so be prepared to wash and dry dishes if you eat at the house. Kids really enjoyed to pool and hot tub. Also the inside of the house is warm and inviting, personal decorations and books and toys will make a family feel right at home or potentially nervous that something will be left out of place or broken. Overall, we felt the place suited our needs and we were thankful for our time there. Hosts clearly love their home and have done a nice job making it a place that is inviting.

The views from the porch are amazing! There’s tons of stuff to do at the house, you don’t even have to leave. Check in was easy, check out was even easier, and Blanche was very effective at communicating throughout our stay. Would definitely come back here!

This was our fifth year staying at Elevacres. We have so enjoyed each visit. Kevin was, again, a great host. Thank you for everything. We will miss your home as our AVL rental, but can’t argue with you wanting that daily view back. Cheers!

Enjoyed our stay at this house just outside of Black Mountain for the weekend. In a quiet spot with amazing views from porch that is only a short drive from the town and other spots. The house itself was in pristine condition when we arrived and looked exactly like the photos. Would highly recommend for a mountain getaway!

Family of 7 had plenty of space and plenty to do during our stay. Very close to Hately Point skiing and snow tubing.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Golf Course Oasis with Azure Luxe! I was impressed with the space and amenities. The rooms were well put together and comfy. There's plenty to do around on the property: Tennis and Pickleball are a blast. We loved the option to have a meal on the patio. Plenty of space to lounge inside and outside. Our group appreciated working with Jeff and Laura. They both made the entire process and stay seamless.

This was a beautiful house that suited our needs for a long stay. Whitney was very responsive and made sure we were well taken care of. The driveway was a bit of a challenge in the dark on arrival, but not a problem once we were used to it. Would recommend. Unfortunately, we landed in this spot due to a mishap with another booking and were very underwhelmed with Airbnb support, so not likely to use Airbnb again.

Jessie's place was amazing and much more than we expected. My family of 15 stayed here for a week long Christmas holiday. We couldn't have asked for a better home to better host. The house accommodated us all extremely well, including three dogs (two of which were large surprises)and Jessie was not only proactive, but incredibly understanding of the mishaps and questions that come about when that many people are housed in one space for that long. We even cooked a large Christmas dinner in the fully and well stocked kitchen. The house felt secluded and it was great for late night fires. It even has a large fenced yard space for dogs. Even though it felt like a private retreat, we were close (5-15 minute drive, depending) to all that Asheville has to offer....restaurants, shops, breweries, hiking trails, etc. And if we got bored with any of that, the board games are well stocked and we were able to stream/watch just about anything on the multiple TVs . This place is now in our top 3!

Tom’s place is an excellent option for large groups or families. Located right along the French Broad River overlooking the northern extent of the Biltmore Estate, this place offers good views, very comfortable accommodations, and plenty to do both within the AirBnb and nearby. We were just a short distance from all Asheville has to offer, making getting to and from a breeze, even with a group of 10. If you’re looking for a sizable location for a weekend away, check out Tom’s place.

This may be my favorite Airbnb I’ve stayed in so far! There was so much room here, plenty of beds, and super comfortable. Everything was nice and modern and worked perfectly. We brought a group of mountain bikers and had plenty of room in the driveway for everyone, and everyone loved the projector downstairs for watching videos! Thanks for an awesome stay.

The place was fantastic! Perfect for a large group, the projector was amazing for rainy days. The kitchen was probably the best stocked kitchen I have ever seen for an Airbnb which made everything that much easier. George was very responsive and helpful, we greatly appreciated his hospitality!

Beautiful place, relaxing and quite. It is a great place to stay and plenty of stuff for kids to enjoy. We had a great time with our family.

We can’t say enough about how wonderful this home and experience was for our family. We had family coming from several parts of the country for Thanksgiving and it was an ideal location! We loved using hot tub and making fires in the outdoor fireplace. Thank you for a great experience!

This was a BEAUTIFUL space for our gathering. The house was stunning, super accommodating, and cozy for our large group. There was a lovely trail beside the house that led to a relaxing mini-spring. We loved how private it was and the community surrounding it. We appreciate the host’s flexibility and have already talked about coming back. You will not be disappointed booking this house.

We had a wonderful weekend retreat for pastors and their spouses. The home was beautiful, the bedrooms were spacious, the bathrooms were clean and well appointed. The kitchen table was the best part of the home. We had many laughs and shared great stories around the table. We have already booked this home again for our next pastor's retreat.

This place was perfect! We had the best trip and Bonnie only made it that much better! She is so nice. And the house is so great! I don’t think anything could be improved, Bonnie ..you did a wonderful job with this Airbnb and I will stay here anytime I come to Lake Lure. I just hope it’ll be available!

Excellent host and great communication. The EV charger was a great plus! (Just need an adapter if you have a Tesla). The property was a delight to explore with hidden gems located throughout. Had some life-long memories with my Dad here. Hope to revisit one day.

This house is absolutely incredible. Tucked high in the mountains near Catawba Falls, but just 20 minutes from Black Mountain, it is secluded and peaceful with all the amenities you could need. Our group of 7 has lots of room to spread out, with multiple balconies front and back for admiring the sweeping mountain views. We made liberal use of the pool table and loved the large kitchen for family meals. They really thought of every detail, with plenty of essentials like paper towels and dish soap as well as nice touches like a large stack of towels for the hot tub. I would definitely stay at this property any time I'm in the area!

Perfect house for Valentine’s Day surprise trip!! Probably the best relaxing vacation I been on in a while. Had more than needed at the house to make the stay comfy and enjoyable. Will definitely visit again😊

We had a great stay at Carly's place. We enjoyed the proximity to hikes in the Pisgah particularly along the Davison River area. Living room seating was good and there were nice views across the valley. We had a Whip-poor-will serenade us several nights. Sound does carry up the valley so when on the porch road noise was noticeable. The bed (we used the Master bedroom) was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and even a sharp knife! If you plan on cooking some of your own meals, wait to go grocery shopping until after you check in as Carly has thoughtfully provided an Ingles card so you can save some $$. We ate at The Square Root one night and the food was wonderful.

Very nice family vacation. Beautiful surroundings, comfortable place to stay. Kids were busy and having fun the entire time. Enjoyed the donkeys, game room and the Pac-Man game.

The home was beautiful, open and airy with lots of windows. Great view! Plenty of of room for 8 people. The space has a really good feel, inside seemed even larger than the pictures. The parking area is a bit smaller than it seems in the pictures and the driveway is extremely steep, one of our vehicles was not able to get up the hill. You can hear the hum of the highway when you’re outside, but if you use your imagination you can pretend it is the ocean. If you like a firm bed, you will not be disappointed.

I stayed at this house with some friends for a rock climbing trip, and it was the perfect location. Only a 6min drive from Rumbling Bald, this spot was very well located for our climbing desires. The view from the deck and hot tub were amazing.
