Simple and peaceful accommodation in a central location. There is a lot of charm in the velvet apartment of the Red House . The Red House on KJV is the oldest residential house in Horten and was the main house on Horten Gård . The property is located on idyllic Karljohansvern just 150 meters from the beach and the Oslo fjord. It's quiet here , even though the city center is only 1 km away. Karljohansvern has a number of museums and artist studios. It's great to walk straight from the property. Overall a very beautiful area.

Charming small cottage

Charming little summer house of 12 sqm. High under the roof. Uninsulated and no power or water. Light source inside is light with battery, candles. 1 small double bed (1.20×2.00) If desired, there is the possibility of 1 extra mattress on the floor (1.20×2.00 m). Windows have a frame and cannot be opened. There are air vents; but airing is primarily via the door. The door can be locked inside and outside. The kitchen and bathroom inside the main house are shared with the host and possibly other guests visiting.

Here you can live rural on a farm that is in daily operation, while living relatively central - 10 km to Horten, 19 km to Tønsberg, 12 km to Holmestrand and 3.5 km from exit 35 on E18. Many sights and places to visit! (Golf, beaches, museums, etc.). On the farm we do sheep, cereal, feed production and raspberries. Some noise from the drift will occur, as there is work that needs to be done with different machines and cars. The brewery house is a bit by itself in the yard, with its own garden and porch.

This memorable place is everything but ordinary! Take a trip in the countryside to a cozy and different stay just a 5 min drive from Cirkle K Kopstad/E18. This place is originally used the most when we have guests, it is now renting out on Airbnb as it is a shame it is unused. Kitchen, living room, bathroom and sofa bed (130 cm) sleeps 2 people Live on the farm in the house next door. No smoking!
