Vacation rentals in Arthur City

I highly recommend staying at this cabin if you need a weekend away from living in the city. There isn’t wifi, so the limited use of electronics was perfect to disconnect. The cabin is surrounded by trees and forest. The location was very private, but there were other houses nearby, so you don’t feel completely isolated. The space inside is fantastic. The living area and kitchen were spacious and comfortable. The upstairs area was clean and cozy. My favorite part of this space was the second floor balcony. We sat outside most of the stay because the weather was soooo beautiful. There isn’t a covering on the balcony (don’t need one, really), but there is a covered porch on the first floor, in case it rains. There was A/C that worked well and kept the space cool. This is place i’ve already recommended to my friends and family. I will definitely be staying here again! The ONE thing i’ll warn other travelers about is the tap water…you would be wise to bring your own water! 10/10 listing!

I never made it for this trip, I had to turn around for an emergency, so only my guy stayed at Crystals place. Despite my never showing up I still had really thoughtful exchanges with Crystal, she even proactively reached out to ask if we needed anything before getting in. she seems like the kind of host that actually enjoys opening her home to others, she even made a really sweet welcome sign on a chalkboard for us. My guy said the place was just as described and squeaky clean!

Where do I begin. This place is so peaceful and quiet area for a great getaway. I have a 1 and 4 year old so I was a little unsure of this but after arriving they were loving everything about it. It’s so open to play with the kids and the barn is our favorite spot. We can cook on the grill while the kids play games and watch tv. We had so many things to do while we were there from playing in the barn, watching movies, making s’mores on the bonfire, and walking on the trails. We went to the next town about 20 minutes away to the Safari Park. It was wonderful to see all sorts of animals of fun animals like kangaroos and giraffes. Hot tub was also a blast for us and the kids. Very safe environment! We plan to come back and explore again next year!

My husband and I enjoyed this property very much! It is clear Steve and Nancy take great pride and care in their rental and it shows. Anything you might need for a relaxing getaway is readily available. All rooms were clean and extremely well kept. The coffee bar in the kitchen was stocked with everything you need to start your morning. We also enjoyed the vast movie library provided on the dvr. Steve took the time to refill the bird feeders during our stay so we could continue to enjoy the wildlife from the comfort of the living room. The screened in porch and hot tub are another amazing touch. We highly recommend this property and would definitely return!

Beautiful home on a peaceful lake. Great place to relax, go fishing and enjoy the surrounding area!

Google maps took us to a different cabin, so I was thankful the host had already sent specific directions to the cabin so it was easy to find. I had difficulty unlocking the door (it had been a stressful trip & was late at night) but my son read the directions & was able to open it without any difficulty, in the meantime I had messaged the host who replied immediately! I was so grateful for that! I also appreciated that the porch light was on for us so we weren't fumbling around in the dark. The cabin was decorated perfectly- no clutter in excessive decor etc. We enjoyed the back porch swings looking at the lake. My son was happy to fish. The beds/pillows were comfy. I normally don't sleep well in other places but felt safe & comfortable enough to fall asleep with no problem & wake up to a beautiful view of the lake. The host was a great communicator prior to & during the stay as I had several questions that were promptly answered. I would stay there again.

We had to arrange my mother’s funeral this trip and Lena was so helpful and considerate of our needs. We deeply appreciated her empathy!

I enjoyed Tonya's place. It's not too far off the main road, down a gravel road with a horse pasture on the other side. Quiet and peaceful. There's a cute cafe within walking distance. The place itself has everything you want and need: Good heating and cooling; a couple of different types of coffee makers, nice TV and Wifi, thick towels, comfortable bed and good bedding. The bathroom has a nice feel with a clawfoot tub and decorative sink. Very responsive host. Definitely would stay here again.

Lou’s home is absolutely adorable. Spacious and charming. Comfortable for 2 adults and their cat. Ate at the local Roma Italiano restaurant. Amazing food made from scratch by authentic Italians! Highly recommend.
