Family-friendly vacation rentals in Arroyo

Beautiful hidden gem. Cabin was equipped with everything we needed. Stocked kitchen, clean bedrooms, washer/dry, extra supplies. Fun and relaxing time throughout the property: hot tub, kayak and fishing, beautiful landscape for photos, pool table, and board games. We caught several fish for meals. Be careful not to travel at night and in a small car. The roads are narrow, winding and dark. We would have liked more security for access doors to feel safer at night. We would definitely recommend others who like more adventurous stay.

Great place to stay: modern, comfortable and close to the beach. Super clean and had everything we needed. Carlos is a wonderful host answering all my questions within minutes. It’s conveniently located to places to eat and stores. Checkin/checkouts are super easy.

The Marabella Club condo is a unit on the 3rd floor with a mountain view and a few steps to the pool area and beach. Very quiet and beautiful. We would walk along the beach or lay by the pool and see very few people. Mostly Americans and very friendly employees particularly appreciated Gustavo at the gate (who can answer questions and provide helpful suggestions). When you arrive, there is one gated entrance into Palmas Del Mar and another gate into Marbella Club. The condo was clean, very soft bath towels and linens. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen has a cabinet with condiments, basics, newer appliances, coffeemaker, airfryer. The countertop could be updated but very clean. We stopped after airport and bought groceries at Ralph’s in Humecao as there is only a small market in Palmas Del Mar (plaza). The only challenge was the elevator is not available now as they are installing a new one so you must use the stairs. Favorite restaurant- Bocata! Thank you Jose!

We had a great time at Lydia’s place. We had plenty of space, it was very clean, golf cart was great addition, and great views! The king bed was very comfortable. We would definitely come back !

Quiet neighborhood that felt safe. Jose’s home was really spacious and the patio was beautiful out back with great views of lush greenery. Places to walk out back. Sleeping was comfortable for the 10 of us that were there. What a great big TV room upstairs and when you open the shutters it was just beautiful. All in all we found the home very nice and relaxing and the location was convenient to San Juan. Some in our group made the trip to the city a couple of times. It rained off and on during our stay, as it often does in the rainforest, but even that looked beautiful under cover of the patio. The community pool is close by, and is nice and large, but I do have to say that it wasn’t that clean on the day we went. Jose was a very responsive and communicative host from time of booking till we left. We had some questions while we were there and he answered almost instantly every time. Thank you Jose for providing a good place for our family to have time together.

Our stay in Palmas Del Mar, Humacao was wonderful. This property had everything you could need for all ages. Our family family really appreciated the baby bath, crib and high chair in addition to the toys for our kiddos to play with! The location could not be more perfect as it was just steps away from the pool which we all enjoyed and the park for the kiddos was close also. There was a lot to do in Palmas Del Mar but it was also within driving distance of many cities on our itinerary like Fajardo, Luquillo and Old San Juan. Coming back to this condominium after a long day of exploring felt like coming home! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and we enjoyed hanging out on the patio and enjoying the sounds of the coquis and other wildlife. Every detail of this home was well thought out. The beach towels, chairs and pool floats were also so convenient for the pool and beach. This condominium was the perfect escape that our family needed for vacation!

This Airbnb was wonderful to stay at! It was a quiet and peaceful neighborhood,and gated which was wonderful! The house was very comfortable and great for a big family/friend vacation. Highly recommend staying here, there are fantastic restaurants at the kiosks just 5 minutes away! Joel was also a pleasure to work with, he was very responsive and kind! where do I start. this condo was amazing. we had come to celebrate my mother in laws 60th birthday at Playa del Mar. Everyone in the family could not believe how fabulous this place was. Once I told them what I paid for 7 days they were shocked. This was very fair price rental. I had my family stay in other condos in Playa del Mar and they said our place was so much nicer and spacious then there Airbnb rentals. This place has options to be rented as 1 bedroom. Friends say they would come back and rent here do to how amazing it was. they security at gate was so nice and helpful. steps aways from the pool and hot tub there it's open til 1pm. nature sounds when on the balcony and beautiful birds to see while sitting outside in mornings on balcony with some coffee. I was happy that family really wanted to come visit our place and loved it. I had to forward this Airbnb to family and friend that were asking. Family members loved the golf course and golf cart rental to get around.

Ms. Marta is an excellent host. We (me, hubby & 2 cats), just moved here to Puerto Rico from Pennsylvania. We rented this Airbnb because we wanted to look for a place between here and San Juan. Ms. Marta found out that we were looking for a place to buy/rent in the area and offered us an extended stay to continue looking for a place. (Relieved)! The villa we rented was clean, cozy and private. The linen smelled so good. There is a washer/dryer right on the property for your use. The hospitality was amazing. You want for nothing. When we told Ms. Marta we didn't have any internet service, she immediately responded. She spoke to the owner Mr. Juan, and that same day we had internet service. (Loose cable) Chewy is the awesome grounds keeper. If anything is needed, ask him once, and it's done!! He even brought my husband and I fresh coconut water. Gigantic coconut with a hole drilled on top. Yum. Nature, horses, dogs, singing coqui's and a pool! It felt like home. A must stay!!

Exactly what I expected! Clean and easy to access. Directions were excellent.

This place is incredible. Multiple people in our group said they slept like a baby every night. Fall asleep to the sounds of Coquis and wake up to the sound of songbirds. We came in mid-March. It got a little chilly at night, and perfect during the day. So many people were asking me about the place when I posted on social media. We left yesterday. I already miss it.

Fabulous, peaceful oceanic scene. Both homes had beautiful views of mountains and ocean. Great local restaurants and people. Somewhat of a challenge if you have small children I would suggest you buy a baby gate. I left one there in case someone needed it. Also Fran recommended a great person cook named Millie. GREAT PERSONAL COOK !!!

100% would stay at Patty's place again! Immediately we all were struck by the cleanliness and beauty. The patio directly overlooks the ocean and the breeze it creates is stunning. Patty was incredibly responsive and super friendly, with excellent recommendations, you feel her love for Puerto Rico immediately. Everything we needed was there! (boogie boards, beach blankets, bags, shampoo, conditioner, kitchen utensils, coffee maker, and more). Lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance. We felt very safe walking around, everyone we met was super nice and had a great vibe - same with security guards. Driving from airport was easy (we had been nervous for it, but no need) the couple streets into the condo were very narrow but not busy, so easily manageable. Drive to El Yunque was also much easier than we anticipated - as well as drive to Fajardo for Hacienda Chocolat tour and separately our snorkeling excursion to Icaco Island. Thank you Patty for an amazing week of memories.

What can I say…this was probably the best and most beautiful Airbnb we have ever stayed it. It was just what we needed to get our Carribean vacation started. The master bedroom was the highlight and the views of the blue waters from the windows was something we have only seen in movies. My friends, wife and I enjoyed this place immensely.

Our stay was truly restful amongst the sweet sounds of the coqui frogs. We slept well on the comfortable bed. Easy to find with the precise location the host provided. Very responsive when we called upon arrival to access the gate securing the property.

Staying here was a dream! There's nothing like waking up to sound of the ocean waves and the views were amazing. I literally couldn't wait to wake up every morning. Great location as it's less than a 10 minute walk to the beach and the kioskos. Perfect for a family, especially the two-floor layout which gives you some privacy on the second floor. Loved the outdoor shower and bathroom - great for rinsing off after the beach or just having a place to easily cool off. Host is very clear about AC in only part of the house so just make sure you are aware, but there are plenty of fans for the upstairs area so it was not a problem. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone!

Highly recommend this place if you’re looking to relax and recharge. We’ll definitely be back!

Second time staying here in 5 years and it just keeps getting better! Loved the upgraded TV and Roku. Same beautiful views and having access to a private pool can’t be beat. Area feels safe and secure in a gated community. Jayanne is a great host, always responsive and willing to work with your itinerary for your trip. Her pets are so sweet and well-behaved, loved little miss Peaches! Jayanne’s place has become my favorite place to stay in Puerto Rico! Thank you!

This was the perfect house for our family trip. The outdoor space around the pool and the patio was AMAZING! We spent so much time outside, and the kids enjoyed having so much to do. There was also a lot to do in the house! We played a ton of pool, and there was lots of space for board games and hanging out. Carlos was a great host, and any issue we had was addressed immediately. One of my daughters has to be gluten-free, and when I let him know, he went out and bought brand new pans for her, so we did not have to worry about cross-contamination. It was a great house for us and we loved our vacation in Puerto Rico.

Fantastic location, just a short walk to the beach! The host was incredibly responsive and addressed any concerns right away. We had a wonderful stay, and my siblings were so impressed—they’re now considering a move from Miami to Palmas. It truly was that enjoyable!

We loved our stay at Joseph’s! The view from the patio was incomparable, and it was a great location to enjoy both the rainforest and the beaches. Already looking forward to our return!

We loved our stay at Rio Mar Village and were very sad to leave when our trip was over. The condo was very comfortable and well-stocked. It is at the end of a cluster and we enjoyed the privacy of it. Walking to the complex pool is feasible (10 minutes or less to walk), but we mostly chose to drive. The pool was beautiful and quiet--at most 4 other people in it when we were there. You have to drive to get to the beach and restaurants, but that was no problem for us. Supermarkets and Walgreens are within 10 minutes. The mouth of El Yunque is also a quick drive from the resort entrance. Airport (when no traffic) was 35 minutes drive and Old San Juan is about 45 minutes. Great restaurants in the resort but also near Luquillo Beach. Of all the places we have stayed in Puerto Rico, this was the best. It gave us easy access to everything we wanted to do on the island while also giving us the peacefulness and privacy of our own home. Loly is a great host and replies to texts right away.
