Older, well-maintained single-family home in quiet and peaceful surroundings with plenty of space and a short way to various nature experiences as well as the village of Flisa. The location is "in the middle of Scandinavia". 60 km to Kongsvinger, 50 km to Elverum, 80 km to Hamar. The residence is on a farm where we, a couple in our 60s, also live with a our dog, Perle.

Come enjoy this quiet lakeside setting. The property is situated on the edge of the forest, 100 m from a small lake that connects to Storsjøen. There are plenty of hiking tracks in the forest, and we have two bikes for rent so you can explore the countryside roads. Storsjøen is a large lake great for fishing both in the summer and winter. In the summer, you can take the river down to the village of Skarnes, situated on Norway's longest river Glomma. We have a boat, a canoe and a kayak for rent.

The farm is about a 15 minute drive by car to the city, Elverum. A grocery store is about 13 minutes away. You should have a car to stay with us. You will find an operating farm, with tractor driving at times but also silence, nature, trees, fields and forest as neighbors. Occasionally you can see moose and deer on the land. Occasionally, it's the northern lights!

The log cabin is from 1850 and is located on a cozy private yard with annex. Here there is a beautiful view towards Gjesåssjøen (with good fishing opportunities) and Gjesåsen church.
