Sensational stay at the cottage. Great host, loved the chat about the house and local area. Already planning a return with the whole family. This is the best property we have stayed in so far and is in a great location within walking distance of Uralla. With Armidale 20 minutes away and Tamworth and hour or so there is so much to do. It was lovely being able to relax outside in the beautiful garden with a wine and enjoy the storms rolling around. Definitely recommend Rob and his property.

Luxe Studio - City style with country appeal

Mary & David’s studio sure is “lux”. It is modern but earthy; focussed on sustainability but with quality appliances & a bathroom to die for! The view from the breakfast bar is restful but paradoxically inspiring, we loved being so close to nature but with every modern convenience. As a bonus, the wood fire makes the space romantic & warm as toast. The drive from town through rolling lush countryside builds up a sense of anticipation. On arrival, the house & gardens featuring magnificent mortared rock & drystone walls are a wonderful surprise. Thank you Mary & David for your wonderful but laidback hospitality. PS we think is Jack the friendliest working dog ever!!

What a gorgeous home in a stunning location. Have stayed in Armidale numerous times but this was something special being able to stay a little further out of town and amongst nature. Clean, spacious and clutter free made for a very easy couple of days with 5 adults and 2 children. Highly recommend.

We, as a family, flew from Indonesia and traveled for 7 hours from Sydney to Armidale, and everything was made even better by staying at Michelle and Kate's place. The house is beautiful, tidy, clean, and very well-equipped for a large family. The yard is very spacious, and the long parking area is sufficient for our van. Both of them were very responsive when we accidentally got locked out. Staying at Kate and Michelle's Airbnb was the best choice for us to retrace our lives in Armidale 30 years ago because it is also located close to the city center of Armidale. Sources

Such a lovely air BnB in the even lovelier town of Uralla. The host was so helpful and kind, with a great set up of amenities and thoughtful recommendations for local eateries and things to do. The space is so calming, relaxing and well considered - a lovely place for a mini country holiday. We enjoyed our time catching up with family and friends - even the neighbours were lovely! Will definitely be back again :) Thanks Helen

Thanks Neroli for her beautiful place, peaceful and private! We're so happy for her eye for details to arrange the rooms. All the room and kitchen staff are wonderful quality and diversity, and environment friendly. And we love the fireplace for a few cold nights during the stay.

Wow, this totally surpassed our expectations. The private studio has wonderful views of the countryside as well as the incredibly beautiful gardens designed by Paul Bangay which are actually featured in his latest book ‘Big Garden Design’. Both the living area and connected bedroom open on to the expansive timber deck. The heated spa down next to the pool was lovely to soak in, and we made good use of the ping pong table and well-equiped exercise room. We enjoyed riding to Gara Gorge/Blue Hole as well as on other quiet country roads close to the property. It was such a relaxing place to spend a few nights.

This cottage is truly a very special place. Phillip and Donella have considered every little detail — from filling the kitchen with local produce, to the modern appliances and cookware, the luxurious towels and linen, and so much more! Overall, the shed is beautifully furnished with an incredible vegetable garden out the back. It is close to the main street in Uralla, which has some lovely pubs and cafes. Phillip and Donella are warm and highly responsive. My only regret is not staying longer!

I could have, honestly, stayed forever in this cottage. I could see and feel the care and attention to detail that made me feel so welcome and at home. Thanks! We’ll be back!

My Grace's Cottages stay was absolutely beautiful. The cottage was beautiful and cosy and well appointed and I was surprised to see a delicious fresh loaf of bread and some Bacon and eggs in fridge. The gardens are so lovely and the location is incredibly peaceful.

Eve Guesthouse is a lovely, comfortable, very well equipped place and was perfectly located for our family gathering for a wedding in Walcha. Giorgia and Charlie have created a beautiful, fresh, clean place which provided us with a calm and homely setting for our daughter to get ready for her wedding. Giorgia is an excellent host who responded promptly to messages, is very friendly and super helpful. She provided great recommendations, went out of her way to organise extra equipment for a 2 year old and even left a gorgeous wedding gift for the bride and groom which was such a thoughtful and appreciated gesture. Eve Guesthouse was perfect for our needs and we’re most grateful to have had such excellent hosts. We confidently give it 5 stars all round and would very happily return to stay there should we come back to this region. Thank you Giorgia and Charlie.

Ben sent us clear instructions on how to access the property and any other information that could be relevant. Provided a couple of contact numbers, should we need them. We really only slept there and had breakfast - so it was fantastic for our purposes. Close enough to the shops and the outskirts, where the family is based. This will be our third time staying at this house (1st time with Ben), and we like to be comfortable when we are away from home, so the house must be great for us to keep returning. Thanks Ben for the great stay.

This is our second visit to Belmont. Having stayed there earlier, we returned cos it was a lovely property with good amenities and well laid out. The house is close to the town but not in it. So, it is very peaceful. The house has a really good TV and sound system (we have stayed at many BNB's that have really poor TVs or sound). There are lots of birds that come to the property. As a birder and photographer, I really enjoyed that.

In my view, you won't find a better Host. Emma was very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her house was clean and the beds comfortable. The kitchen was also clean and had everything you will need - we really appreciated the tea, coffee and milk. We stayed for 6 nights, so it was great to have a washing machine and a large yard. We felt relaxed and at home in Emma's place - a great choice.
