Monthly Rentals in Arkle

Juanella’s Airbnb was fantastic, my partner and I loved our stay, the only thing we would do different is stay longer! We got to roam around her beautiful farm and even got to pet the sheep, cows and goats! She has plenty of adorable dogs as well that were so friendly. We loved it here and would definitely stay again.

What a wonderful week! I went to Culkein/Assynt for the express purpose of getting away from the overwhelming excesses of London life, and I succeeded, thanks in no small part to Karen and Iain’s pod. The pod is beautifully situated with an uninterrupted view of the coast, waves breaking over rocks, fields of sheep. The place is easy to locate, and Karen was proactive in providing easy-to-follow directions. The pod itself has everything you’d want or need and is extremely comfortable. Culkein is a great location if you’re looking to hike nearby Suilven, go on walks or just relax on the deck and stare out to the sea. I have nothing but high recommendations based on my experience, and I have every intention of returning to the region - it’s stunning.

This is our second stay at the cottage and once again it provided us with a perfect stay. A couple of mins from the beach by car and an enclosed garden meant we had the best stay with our two big dogs. We were really cosy with the fire and heating system! Thank you again for a super stay. We will be back again during the year!

Second time we have stayed with Pam & David, 4 years in-between & still as magical as it was the first time. A very special base in a spectacular location hosted by the most wonderful hosts you could wish for. Thanks for the kindness, care & for simply allowing us to share that view.. it touches your soul.
