Beachfront vacation rentals in Arcachon

As advertised, very clean, all the essentials for a great stay( appliances , terrace, hose to rinse the dog after the beach...) Very close to beach access Only small problem, no wifi but it's in the listing but so come as a surprise. We would highly recommend it.

it was Hélène who managed our stay with great sympathy, kindness and in a very professional manner. the apartment is very convenient and sufficiently equipped. just a downside for the beds whose mattresses are much too firm. A big thank you to Hélène for her kindness.

Very nice apartment with a view over the oyster harbour and the fascinating changing between high and low tide. Very cute area with a lot of traditional “cabanes”. Great spot for making biking or hiking trips.

I recommend: a nice and well-located accommodation in Arcachon where you can do anything on foot. Excellent stay!

Betty's cottage is fantastic, even better than in the photos, especially the garden and bbq area, quiet and surrounded by greenery, which we enjoyed as well as our two dogs. We were 2 couples, the house is extremely nice and well thought out with several spaces to have an aperitif or play board games. The house is located at the start of many trails, for example towards Andernos or to explore the areas of Certes and Graveyron. We recommend it 100%!

We stayed at Valerie's for 2 months (mid-Jan to mid-March). It was perfect for our needs and very comfortable. Our favorite feature was the nature preserve right behind the condo. Twice a day, every day, our dogs enjoyed a 2 mile loop, off leash, on a dirt road and path, along the beach and through the berry brambles. Doggie heaven. Within a quarter mile walk are a patisserie, several restaurants and the train station. The market (which is daily, even in winter), town center, and everything you could need are within a mile. Arcachon and several supermarkets are a short drive away. Valerie was so helpful! She even upgraded the wifi when it was too slow for Zoom to work well! A life saver! The kitchen has everything you need (both a Nescafe and a drip coffee maker), the shower is roomy, and the washer and dryer work very well. We highly recommend la cabane du littoral!

Very well designed house and ideally placed for a family stay by the sea. The agency was at all times very responsive by customizing its service.

Very nice accommodation in a quiet environment. Very well arranged (there is everything you need) and large enough. Very well located, close to the beach, port and small shops. We did everything by bike (Dune du Pilat, Arcachon...) thanks to the many bike paths. Good communication. We recommend!

Beautiful house, modern, comfortable and very well-equipped. The terrace is well furnished with an outdoor lounge, pool and bocce ball court. Close to all possible activities on the lake. Simple, fast, and efficient communication. Recommended.

The cottage is very nice and absolutely recommended. It is lovingly furnished and the furnishings are well thought out. The floor plan is very suitable for a relaxed and restful stay. Even a basic set of spices and vinegar as well as oil are available in the kitchen. Also dish soap, etc. In addition, detergent was also available for the washing machine. We felt very comfortable and were happy about the well-functioning air conditioning on some days, when it was very hot. The whole house is a highlight, but especially the terrace and the swimming pool to the south side as well as the outdoor kitchen are a great pleasure. In addition, there is ample space for several cars on the property without any problems. The landlord Patrice is a very friendly and accommodating host. He communicated excellently, was always available and always responded within a very short time when we had a question.

We loved this quiet and very private property. It was the perfect location - 5 minute walk to Horizon beach, 10 minutes to a well-stocked Auchon grocery store, 10-15 minutes to the daily marché and loads of restaurants and shops. Marie was a responsive, friendly and responsible host. Several light bulbs died while we were there- in a bathroom and two bedrooms- which was a bit odd but not overly problematic, and they were out to replace them within minutes. One thing that didn’t quite fit the description was that it’s not what I consider central air conditioning. There are two large wall units in the living and kitchen area, and 1 in the upstairs bedroom that cool down those spaces incredibly well. The 4 downstairs bedrooms do not have units and it got warm back there on the hottest nights. We slept with doors open to get what we could out of the AC which wasn’t ideal. It’s not a deal breaker for us, but could be improved with fans. Still, overall, an excellent stay!

Wonderful spot to stay in Arcachon! We were close to the beach but also close to the city centre where there were lots of restaurants and activities to do. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area!

The place looks better in reality than we expected from the photos. The house is equipped with everything you need. But the best thing was our hostess, who is very warm and friendly. We arrived an hour earlier than announced and the house cleaning was still in progress. Nevertheless, we were immediately admitted and offered a beer as a welcome. Should we be near Biscarrosse again, we will book this place again.

We spent 4 weeks at the property, as a workation (2 weeks remote work + 2 weeks vacation). Due to the very fast internet, the work was not a problem and the proximity of the beach made every working day better :) Otherwise, the place was as described and Gaetan was really very very attentive and quick to respond. We had a great time and will be back again!

My family and I had a fantastic week in Caroline’s apartment. The apartment is right in the middle of Arcachon so very well located to get to all the shops and restaurants. The best part is that Caroline has bikes that we were able to use and so we made the most of exploring Arcachon and the surrounding areas on bikes. There are cycle lanes everywhere so it was very safe for the kids. Helped by a great week of sunshine we could not have asked for much more from our stay.

Very nice house, especially if the weather allows you to stay outside. The outdoor area is much nicer than expected. The sofas are very comfortable and can accommodate quite a few people. Location is great, and both beaches are within walking distance. So is the market. We had a great stay. I just thought that beds were a wee small, and soft. I also got a little annoyed when I found out that sheets and towels were not included.

We spent 3 days and 2 nights in Arcachon very pleasant with our 7-month-old baby for a first family vacation, and by bike:) The accommodation matches the photos, very well decorated and convenient, with the necessities loaned by Laurence for a baby. And Arcachon is a great destination by bike when you don't have a car, the bike paths are everywhere and the accommodation is accessible (on foot / stroller too). So we'll be happy to come back if we have the chance!
