Our rustic 1903 mud-brick studio is made from river sand and mud sourced from the local Great Western area. The studio was built as a fruit kitchen by the Patching family who owned and operated a number of orchards along Concongella Creek and Salt Creek. The fruit kitchen has been recently renovated into a 1-bed studio which offers history and modern comforts. The cottage is surround by farm land meaning there is an abundance of animals to watch and enjoy, including Kangaroos.

Close to parklands, Lake Wendouree, art galleries, wineries and lots of great cafes and restaurants. The Ballarat-Skipton Railtrail is just 300 metres away - perfect for quiet country walks and cyclists. It is comfortable inside and out with plenty of shady spots to sit in the garden.

Elle was a lovely host, super welcoming and helpful to chat to. The home was cosy, clean and with a modern bathroom, oven, smart tvs and a big bed, it was the perfect stay! What a beautiful place to stay for a few nights. Close to Daylseford and Kyneton which are lovely to visit, all while staying somewhere very peaceful and quiet. We loved it here, there are kangaroos everywhere. The house is very well fitted out, warm with a lot of room. We loved the pizza that Stephanie made us. Our dog really enjoyed the walks - one thing for all dog owners to note is the very safe and secure yard around the house. Our dog was able to wander around without us having to worry about her getting out of the yard! We will definately be back.
