101 Love Shack

Our rustic 1903 mud-brick studio is made from river sand and mud sourced from the local Great Western area. The studio was built as a fruit kitchen by the Patching family who owned and operated a number of orchards along Concongella Creek and Salt Creek. The fruit kitchen has been recently renovated into a 1-bed studio which offers history and modern comforts. The cottage is surround by farm land meaning there is an abundance of animals to watch and enjoy, including Kangaroos.

A cascading waterfall is seen flowing down rocky cliffs into a serene pool below. Surrounding stones and lush greenery enhance the natural setting, while white froth from the water creates a misty atmosphere. Bright blue skies with scattered clouds complete the tranquil outdoor scene.

Came from Western Australia didn't really know what to expect. This place is what Airbnbs are about. It was so relaxing, you could go do a hike or just sit here and relax. Melissa and Ant where perfect hosts. We was very lucky to meet Ant and get a tour of the farm. I made some great memories here with my two daughters. And hope to return one day as two nights was not enough time to enjoy it all. Thank you

We really enjoyed our stay and the cabin was exactly as described. It was cosy and warm which was really appreciated by us Queenslanders!! We loved the photographic prints on the walls…. you are very talented Tim! We were also pleasantly surprised that many of the walks were open with limited fire damage.

We found a last minute deal at Angela’s and it was a wonderful experience. The place was amazing and the kids loved waking up to sound the birds make. We didn’t see any kangaroos / wallabies at the property but we found a lot of them in Grampians. The overall stay and experience was Awesome.

We enjoyed our stay at Louise & Ross’ house. House was well set up and great for our little boys who loved the toys! Kitchen was well equipped, beds comfy and house was warm and cosy despite the cold weather. Would definitely recommend!!
