Catherine’s accommodation is extremely homely and in beautiful surroundings. Not too close to the town but not too far either. Catherine is very friendly and welcoming and attentive to her guests. We enjoyed our stay from start to finish, we even stayed an extra night.

Grattan House, Salthill, Galway

MichelleRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Grattan Holiday Apartments, car parking out the back, spacious rooms, well-equipped kitchen and within walking distance to the beach, local pubs and restaurants. It's about a 20 minute walk into Galway city and taxi back is around €10. Highly recommend a stay here. Sean and Cathal are on hand if you need them and will recommend places to visit and eat

Saltcliff Cottage - Sea Views to Aran Islands

PatriciaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Our family loved the cottage. The views and sunsets were just beautiful. It is 2 minutes from Cliffs if Moher and about 8 minutfrom Doolin. It was a nice touch to have breakfast foods for the first morning. The hot tub was an added bonus. We had a great dinner at Russell Seafood and listened to music at McDermotts.

Eden Cottage Countryside Retreat

ErinRating, 5 stars14 months ago
This was our second stay at Mark’s Eden Retreat Cottage. We stayed there last year and loved it so much we came again this year. The size was perfect for a small group of friends on a combined business and leisure trip. We love the spacious kitchen and especially the little fireplace. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful and just a short trip into town for supplied, pubs, busses, shopping, etc. Last year we used the hottub but this year it was out of service. Mark notified us in advance of this and compensated us for the inconvenience, which I appreciated very much.. Mark is a great communicator! Will stay again. Thank you!

Pat mors cottage

StaceyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My favorite Airbnb on our Ireland trip! Our stay at Pat Mors Cottage was the perfect peaceful retreat in the countryside. The cottage is full of charm, cozy, and beautifully maintained, with stunning views right outside the door. William was a great host! We arrived pretty late but check-in was extremely easy and William even stopped by the next morning to make sure everything went smoothly for us. We loved getting visits from our neighbors (the sheep and cows 😊) and enjoyed taking the small hike up the hill in the backyard for an amazing view of the surrounding lakes and mountains. We can’t wait to return—this place is a true gem!

Knockbroughaun Restored Stone Farm Cottage

JuditRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Pat has given us the warmest welcome we have ever got at an airbnb. He is just a terrific host. The cottage is lovely, spacious and well-equipped. Great to have 2 bathrooms. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal. We loved the fire in the dining room and living room and enjoyed playing boardgames with the fire on, on a rainy day. Pat's dog, Lily and the neighbour dog, Hunter are both a delight. Connemara is a beautiful part of Ireland with beautiful scenery and wonderfully warm people. A week is not enough to see everything. We managed to get to the national park, Clifden, Roundstone and its beaches, Lennaun, the Killary fjord and the famine walk, as well as nearby Loch Corrib and the castle. Some of these destinations are about 1 hour away but you drive through beautiful scenery. Galway is only half an hour away and is a buzzing, vibrant city. All in all, we had a great time and would like to come back.

Cosy cottage close to the sea and village.

ElizabethRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The house and gardens are lovely; house was very clean and comfortable. Having a shelf in the showers would be handy for shampoos, soap, etc. The road signs in this general area are written only in Irish (most road signs around Ireland that we saw were written in Irish & English). I think adding that to general info would be helpful.

Nuala was a wonderful host. She met us at the property and showed us around which was great. She thought of every detail. There were hair dryers, curling irons and flat irons in each bedroom. This was perfect since we were traveling from the US for a wedding. Plenty of room for 6 adults, each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook complete meals. She had a basket of scones and brown bread upon our arrival as well as fresh eggs, butter and milk. The area is very quiet but beautiful. Great for walking although you will need a car to get to any of the towns. I enjoyed Sam the Boxer pup, who joined me for a few walks. He is very friendly and it was nice to have his company. Thank you Nuala for your hospitality!! We had a wonderful stay in Doonbeg!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was very homey and comfy. So many basic provisions were there and we were able to settle in easily. The washing machine, the dishwasher and the dryer were a great asset. The view was fantastic and we were super lucky to get really great weather- but Theresa’s house and location would be enjoyable at any time, Thank you Theresa! I will certainly look for availability the next time I need accommodation in the area.
