Monthly Rentals in Ara Pond

Kotonokaori is a perfect place in Nara. It was comfortable, well-equipped, clean, and quiet. Comfortable beds and futon. Very convenient location for exploring Naramachi. Nearby to shopping arcades: Higashimuki, Mochiido, and Shimomikado. A couple blocks from JR Kyobate, but note that trains don't run out of there too frequently and do not connect to Kintetsu Nara. House is a 25ish min walk to either Kintetsu Nara or JR Nara, but there is a Nara City bus loop that is super easy and affordable to use with stops at the major tourist spots, rail stations, and stops within a few blocks of the house. It took 5 mins by bus to get to the edge of the Park and was about another 5 mins walk to the Daibutsu hall. And on a sunny day, that's a great walk to or from through Naramachi, so you really can't lose with this location!

Very nice room. I like Tadao Ando, my parents love the warmth of the😘 room. The bed is very soft, the tatami room is also thoughtfully prepared with a soft mattress, equipped with a Dyson heater. The😌 kitchen and bathroom are clean. The sisters who like to cook can be cooked, the kitchen is fully equipped (condiments, etc. are all bought by the supermarket) The supermarket nearby is cheap (the supermarket came back, the supermarket was half the price) Dad loved the shrimp deeply and ate for two consecutive days:) The host prepared small gift🎁 mothers😘 very happy trip to Nola! Recommended!

Overall, we were pleased with our stay. Host was virtually a life saver when we got food poisoning in Kyoto. Helped us locate to an extended stay location. Only concern I can say is it can get cold in the main foyer in the winter, as the heating is limited. That said the living, kitchen and bedrooms are very warm. Enjoyed our stay.

Loved this stay! The appartment is very cozy, with everything needed. Visiting Nara might have been the favorite part of our 10 days in Japan, and staying at Hitoshi's place is the perfect location, super walkable, lots of restaurants and shops, and the park is only a block away. Stay here if you can!
