Magical land with the most kindred spirits....all love and light!

This was our second time staying at little elk cottage - it’s a great location, comfortable space, and has views for days! We loved building a fire at sunset. We did have an issue upon checking in but Chelsea was extremely responsive and quick to fix the problem. We had a great time & we’ll visit again.

We loved staying at Mary's cabin!! From the moment we arrived, we felt we'd walked into a magical winter wonderland. The coziness of the cabin is unmatched. The interior is dim, even with the lights on, but it fit the vibe. It was very comfortable and had everything we might need - towels, linens, puzzles, information about local attractions, cleaning supplies, and a fully stocked kitchen. We will definitely be back!

We spent lovely days in Chris’home. It was a quiet and peaceful retreat surrounded by woods. Perfect time in family. All you need is provided and it’s very clean. Chris is well-attentionned to his guests. For sure, if we come back one day in this area, we would love to stay once again.

The cabin had a homey feel, you can feel the love and effort put inside. We were in town for a disc golf tournament on the property and this was a perfect spot to stay. The Hot tub was a perfect touch to a long day on the course. We were able to get dinner at Torch Lake Cafe about 4 miles away and the food was amazing. I was able to meet the owners at the disc golf event and able to meet their dogs before we left at checkout. Very friendly people with great dogs! Amazing experience all around! I can’t wait till next year when we do it again!

Lisa was a great host! The cottage was the perfect spot for a girls trip we really enjoyed it and will definitely be back!

It is the perfect get away if you prefer life at a slower pace. Beaches are beautiful, the shops and restaurants are nice, and the people are friendly. Lots of places to walk too. However, if you like more drama, people, and hustle and bustle, Traverse City is only 20 minutes south of Elk Rapids. I will definitely be returning.

Jamie was the best host you could ask for and her cabin was a beautiful queit place to lay your heads and relax. Djdn't get to stay as long as planned but hoping to go back for a couples trip in the future ♡♡ hot tub was the best part ♡♡♡.

We couldn’t have asked for better weather which made our time there so much fun!! Lauren was so nice and informative when we arrived, we felt at home. The views were amazing. Coffee and bagels brought to us in the morning! It was so perfect!!! It makes you feel like you’re in a whole different world. We will definitely be back!

The setting is so idyllic and peaceful! The cabin is clean, well maintained and a fun place to hang out. We really enjoyed our stay and we hope to stay there again in the future.

Britt's place is a lovely place to stay for a weekend up north. The location is easy to find and a number of bars and restaurants are within walkable distance. We had snow and everything was plowed, allowing us to get out and explore. The tiny home is beautifully decorated with a fully functional kitchen and a great use of space. I highly recommend the location.

Such a cute and cozy place! They made sure all bases were covered! Perfect spot for much needed relaxation and unplugging from city life! Will definitely keep in mind for more up north trips!

If you’re looking for an air bnb in the middle of nowhere and nobody driving by your place this is the one. It’s very accommodating for fisherman. Good power source for chanrging and big driveway. It’s a little tight snaking through the driveway but I have a 21ft boat made it through fine. Great place wish I booked an extra day.

Kristin was flexible with our plans and let us move our reservation back a day when the weather wasn’t great. The place is so peaceful and beautiful!

Peaceful and relaxing place to stay with exactly what you need and nothing more. Loved walking our dog on the beautiful grounds and enjoyed all the sounds of nature. Lynn is a great host and the house is a gem.

Pamela and Al are wonderful hosts-friendly and responsive. The home had everything we needed for light cooking and relaxed living. The beach was very private and frequently we couldn’t see another person on the beach. The water is a bit rocky climbing in so guests may want water shoes. We enjoyed the local restaurants, went to the wineries on the mission peninsula and spent a day at Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore. This is a beautiful and peaceful spot!
