Beautiful, cozy apartment! The apartment was super clean, lovingly decorated and despite the central location, very quiet. Everything you need was there – perfect for relaxing. A quiet place, close to Amsterdam. Bussum doesn’t have many things to do, but you can surely find a market to cover your needs. Also it is a 10 minute walk to the train station and makes transportation very easy.

We had a wonderful stay! Matthew’s Airbnb is perfectly situated in central Haarlem—close to cafes, shops, Grote Markt and the train station. We greatly appreciated having use of a full kitchen, a washer (and then hung dry our clothes), and ample space for our family of 4, including 2 young kids. Of note, there are somewhat narrow stairs to get up to the unit, which seems to be common in Dutch residences. Would gladly book again!

We had a delightful 5 night stay at Diana's home. First, the apartment: It was very clean and had all of the amenities that you would find in your own home (even a hairdryer!). The photos are accurate although they don't show how large the living room actually is and so that was a nice surprise. The kitchen was great with a large refrigerator/freezer and had gas cooking. Loved the shower for its' ample water pressure and spacious layout. The bed was very comfortable. The in unit washer and dryer were easy to operate. Ideally located: Around the corner from the subway and a couple of blocks from the tram. From Amsterdam airport the apartment is just a few stops south (3 or 4) on the M52 subway. We bought a multi-day unlimited GVB pass for the subway & trams. Super easy to buy online and use. Diana's place is in a very walkable area by the open air market, restaurants and museums. You must try the truffle pizza @ L'Antica Pizzeria Da Michele around the corner. Book and Enjoy!!

Demi is a fantastic host. Perfect communication, and we received great information along with excellent restaurant recommendations. The accommodation is bright and very cozy. I haven’t slept in such a comfortable bed in a long time. Everything is also easily accessible on foot. We can definitely recommend it.

Extremely friendly hostess! Lovely apartment with all amenities you might need. Very cozy and another nice extra space with bar and dart board. The beds were lovely, everything was clean and decorated with atmosphere. We had a great time and did a day trip to Terschelling, which was fine to do from Arum.

the apartment is located close to a range of shops,restaurants and bars. Very easy to travel to and from the main airport, either by bus or train. Comfy bed, well equipped, clean and quiet.

We had a wonderful stay at Nienke and Richard’s place. Perfect if you are travelling with children, lots of toys, and a playground literally across the street. Walking distance to a grocery store and in a great location to walk around and explore. Richard and Nienke were very responsive and accommodating. Only thing to mention is that the crib is a travel crib (pack n play type thing) and not a real crib as in the photos. Still, we loved our time there!

Ulla's house is really very nice and exceeded our expectations. Everything was very clean, the kitchen well equipped and overall well furnished - an accommodation to feel good. Communication with Ulla was super nice. Absolutely recommended for those looking for peace and quiet and want to explore the area on foot or by bike.

We had a very nice stay! The accommodation is stylishly furnished, especially the brand new and high quality kitchen delighted us. Even beach toys for the children were available. The beach is in about 15 minutes walking distance, which was perfect for relaxing days by the sea. The location is also great – both Amsterdam and Alkmaar are easily accessible. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back!

There were five of us staying with Janine. And even though it was high summer and we were on the beach a lot, there were also a few gloomy days. The apartment then plays an important role and that there are five of you. In addition and of course in general, Janine's apartment was a real gift. In addition, Huisduinen seems to be a little off the tourist's mainstream, which is very pleasant. At the same time, you have direct access to the sea and enchanting beaches. Janine is a very friendly and attentive hostess. We can recommend Janine's apartment without ifs and buts.

Birgit was a fantastic host! Her home was perfect for our quick trip to Amsterdam. It is located close to public transportation (less then 10 minutes to Centraal Station) and a grocery story is around the corner. Birgit showed us around her place and explained how to use different features of the house. She helped map out the easiest routes around the city for us. She was always available and super friendly. We had a great time and cannot wait to visit again.

This was a great rental for our extended family visiting from the United States. The house was spacious and comfortable for a big group, and Joris/Julia/Theresa were very responsive and also helpful to provide baby supplies (pack 'n play, crib, etc.) for our 1-year-old, too. We especially loved the location of this home in a peaceful neighborhood, across the street from a playground, easily walkable to downtown Haarlem (30 minutes), and also with easy access to a main road by car/bike. We had a rental car and never had an issue with street parking. Would highly recommend this home to other travelers!

I felt very comfortable in Anna-Marijke's little cottage. It is very individual and lovingly furnished. A hairdryer and a few kitchen utensils were provided especially for me. Unfortunately, I was unable to connect to the TV because it was not compatible with my Samsung. Anna-Marijke would have had it checked out right away, but for me it was okay. In the best weather, I preferred to explore the beautiful area or chill in the small, sweet backyard. I was lucky, the apple tree was in full bloom, a dream. It is within walking distance to the city center. However, I would recommend a bicycle for exploring the mountains and surroundings, which you can easily place in the backyard (the bicycle rental mentioned in the reviews is no longer there, but there are possibilities in the city center). I highly recommend this place. Anna-Marijke is a particularly warm person and she was always available before and during the trip.

The stay was very nice... The place was clean, cozy and as described. Yafit and Jerry are very friendly and helpful. The location was ideal for our trips to Amsterdam – you can get to the city quickly and easily by both bus and bike. If you are looking for a cozy and well-connected accommodation for an Amsterdam trip, this is the place to be.

Words cannot express just how fortunate we were to find this place. Amanda is a fabulous host, responsive, friendly and so welcoming. The location is excellent, a short walk from the centre of town and likewise to the train station. So peaceful and handy amenities on the doorstep. The accommodation is so clean, stylish and homely, it could not have been improved. Thank you Amanda, you made our weekend truly special.

This lovely place is right off the park, walkable to restaurants, shops and even to the museums (through the park), and just a 20 min ride to the city center. It's in a VERY family friendly area!! The host is excellent -- very friendly and helpful and quick with responses. The flat is fully appointed and even has a little back patio, but 2 of the bedrooms are quite small, and the stairs between floors are steep!

We had a great stay. The place is as described right on the beach, once across the street and the view in the morning great. Beach bars within walking distance. The bed is very cozy and we lacked nothing. We will be happy to come back!

Walkable distance from Beverwijk station. From Amsterdam, you need to take NS which takes 32 mins. Frequency of train is every 20-30 mins. Nice place to stay. we reached late night as well and place is safe.

We had an outstanding experience staying in Sem and Louise's home. They were everything you could hope for in a host and more—friendly, proactive, and helpful. Their flat is lovely. It is stylish, well-appointed, and exceptionally comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked and easy to navigate. The living room is spacious and a delightful place to read or watch TV. Though we didn't use it, it's really nice to have a full-sized dining table. The bedroom and master bath are upstairs. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom has both a shower and a large tub. There's an additional small bathroom downstairs. It was clean and cheerful, and we loved feeling like locals for a few days. The neighborhood is great and walkable to many cafes and restaurants. The hosts left a binder with restaurant recommendations, which is how we discovered Little Collins and the Scandinavian Embassy. All told, the experience was a 10/10. We loved the apartment and the hosts and will definitely return.
