Beautiful apartment with 2 bedrooms. Completely on your own. At the back a spacious garden room with fireplace and also its own garden. The garden room can be heated with the fireplace . In the winter it can be too cold to sit there only with the fireplace. Bathroom has a 2-person bath and a double shower. There is also a washing machine and dryer in the bathroom. Wonderful apartment to stay entirely on your own and enjoying the tranquility!

Our B&B is located in the heart of Waarland, with Alkmaar, Schagen and Heerhugowaard within cycling distance. It is a guest house for 4 people, suitable for a family with older children. There is no train station in Waarland and in the evening there are no buses. Without a car, we may not be the right location. For stays longer than 5 days, a discount is given, but you have to take care of the breakfast yourself.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovingly furnished apartment in Slootdorp! The apartment is stylish, cozy and offers a lot of privacy – perfect for switching off and breathing. We were particularly impressed by the unobstructed view of nature. The independent check-in via key box was super uncomplicated (we arrived very late in the evening), the private entrance and parking a real plus. Communication was friendly, fast and helpful – it couldn't be better! We will be happy to come back!

We were happy with our accommodation. Justin allowed us to arrive earlier and even greeted us in person. The place is as described, very nicely decorated and impeccably clean. We loved the smell of the laundry ;) In the bathroom there are plenty of towels, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and even body lotion - like in a 5-star hotel. Justin was easily accessible to us and very committed to finding a bike rental for us. We would book here anytime

A perfect accommodation for those seeking peace in an environment that has a lot to offer: Alkmaar, Bergen and the Schoorlse Duinen can be reached in 20 minutes by car. Fast train connection from Schagen to Amsterdam. Texel is also a day trip. The apartment is cozy and very nicely decorated, the highlight is the large terrace right on the water with an evening view over the meadows. Anja and Pieter are always easy to reach and very helpful, they even picked us up from Alkmaar because the trains were not running on our arrival day. Thank you!

The cottage is very nicely decorated, cozy and offered everything we needed. We especially liked the small garden, at the end of which a sheep meadow begins. We were there by car and made various excursions, for example to Harlingen (very pretty harbor town) and Tescherling (beautiful island). In Den Oever itself you can walk wonderfully on the dike. A big supermarket is not far and there is a delicious fish shop at the harbor, which was always well visited. We very much enjoyed our time and were able to relax very well. We will be happy to come back!

Jo is incredibly hospitable and you immediately feel welcome. There was a bottle of wine cold and Jo had put on the heater just before our arrival. The house has all the comforts. And thanks to the canopy, you can also sit outside in autumn at night. Go here if you are looking for a quiet place in North Holland and just want a nice stay.
