Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Anna Bay

I was informed by Natalie the house was ready before we arrived this was a nice touch and when we arrived to this beautiful beach side home we had everything we needed and more Natalie and Colin went out of there way and left us extra bedding and things for our little one and all the amazing treats and little signs we just loved it. I would recommend staying here to anyone 😀

Donnas place was modern and cosy. The views of the lake are gorgeous with a nice couch out the front to admire the views. The gas fireplace came in handy on the cold night. The back deck was also nice to sit out on. Everything was clean, with all the extras such as tea, coffee, condiments, even down to shampoo, conditioner, body wash and toilet paper. The only thing that i could say which was a bit of a negative was the single bed was uncomfortable to sleep on. Apart from that a very nice place with short drives to restaurants and beaches. We would definitely stay again.

The house was perfect for 2 couples and kids. This was our second time staying here as it is very well positioned to arrange a weekend around a long lunch at 8@ Trinity. We were also able to pull our kayak down to the water from the house for a swim and a paddle on the lake followed by lawn games in the yard after lunch. The house is very spacious with two living areas. Would stay again.

We enjoyed the stay in Cessnock. the house was very spacious and had enough beds and room for 6 and our 2 dogs. As the gold course was closed, we could walk our dogs around without any problem. only 15 min to Pokolbin and all the wineries. I would come back and stay again

Sharon’s cottage was a wonderful place to stay with plenty of space for both my dogs to run and high fences allowing me to relax and not worry about them getting out. A large open verandah allowed for shelter for the dogs from the summer storms and rain. There was a great little kitchen and lovely windows that made the space feel nice and open

We had a fantastic weekend at Vanessa and Laurie's place. The house has been beautifully renovated, bright and there was ample space for everyone. The pool was the highlight, clean, great temp and immaculate landscaping surrounds. We did not need to leave!

We have stayed here on several occasions and are always pleased with Bill’s hospitality and communication. The cottages are private, quiet and located in a great spot. Thanks again!

My husband & I recently stayed here for our babymoon, and it was perfect! The property is stunning & backs right onto the lake. Pool was clean & has breathtaking views - photos don’t do it justice. Highly recommend if you’re looking to relax & unwind. :)

Glenn was a fantastic host! He is very friendly, has lovely dogs that got along perfectly with our dog and accomodating to everything we could have asked for. When we arrived, the sauna and pool were ready for us even though we arrived late at night. A special and relaxing getaway that met all our expectations!

Great location, host responsive, recommended to others

We had an amazing stay at this peaceful retreat! One of the highlights was being able to bring our dog along, which made the experience even more special. The property is surrounded by beautiful wildlife—we spotted birds and water lizards, adding to the serene atmosphere. The location was incredibly quiet, perfect for relaxing and unwinding after a day travelling in and around Newcastle. It was so nice to cool off in the pool or in the air-conditioned studio after some very hot days! The host, Stewart, was friendly, communicated really well about checking in and was easy to reach out to if we had any questions. We highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a tranquil getaway close to the city, especially if you’re traveling with a pet!

Our stay was perfect! The accommodation was beautiful, quiet, and had all the amenities we needed and more. We loved the fresh eggs, tomatoes, and the deliciously baked sourdough bread. Karen was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home imnediately. A truly relaxing and memorable getaway.

Beautiful place to stay, we came up for a wedding and Jay and Rod were great with all communication. The beds are very comfy lots of space for the 4 of us and our doggy, the pool area was nice to relax in after a swim. Location was great in between Nelson and Shoal bay so had the choice of both, thanks for a great time away

Had a fabulous weekend at yours place. Perfect location for concert at Bimbadgen Estate. Really comfortable stay for 5 girls. We loved dining outside and walking up to clubhouse. Would love to come back next time we are in the Hunter.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Roxy’s place in Anna Bay! The accommodation had everything we needed, and it was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Being so close to Birubi Beach was the highlight – it’s by far the biggest and best dog beach we’ve ever seen! Our dogs had an absolute blast. Roxy was an exceptional host, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. She let us know there would be some building work happening on her house and, as a thoughtful gesture, provided a beautiful welcome hamper and even refunded us for one night since she had hoped the work would be on hold before our arrival. The building noise didn’t bother us at all, but we really appreciated her consideration and generosity. The only other small note was hearing footsteps from upstairs, but it wasn’t a big deal as we were only there to sleep. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we’d absolutely stay here again. Thank you, Roxy, for everything!

Amazing place to stay. we loved being able to walk to Sunset &Vine, a fabulous restaurant, and have the beer garden in walking distance. although tiny, the house had everything we needed.

We had a great stay for 6 nights. Clean, great location, walk to the beach and main strip. Casey was a great host. Dog friendly was a plus.

If I could give ten stars I would! Birubi Blue Beach House has everything and more. Perfect for our weekend get away with three friends and pups. The place is super organized and generous. Fabulous outdoor space which is very private and also secure for our pups. In walking distance to Birubi beach and to the local shops. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and look forward to coming back!

Absolutely loved our stay! Simon was incredibly welcoming and hospitable. We had three dogs in tow and they were happy for us all to stay, which we are very grateful for. Plenty of room for us all. The cottage and location were beautiful and ideal for a quiet retreat surrounded by fabulous Australian bush and wildlife. Paul was very welcoming, responsive and helpful. It was a joy to wake up to our Haflinger neighbours. We would be very happy to stay there again.

We had a short stay at Kim and Mel’s place in Nelson Bay and absolutely love it. The unit is right at the beach. All amenities provided as described so we feel just like home. Highly recommend!
