Wendy's house was well furnished, equipped with all the amenities you could need for cooking in the kitchen, enjoying an evening in watching tv, or just relaxing in front of the fireplace. This house has you covered. For our family of 7 (4 adults, 3 kids), we had two master bedrooms to choose from (one in the basement, one upstairs), and plenty enough space for the kids to spread out in the great room, or their own private bedrooms with good sized beds. The kitchen is modern with a great aesthetic, and the house is well furnished with great decor. We love their style! We felt right at home in this cozy neighborhood, and our host kindly checked on us to ensure we were comfortable and to reach out if we ever had a need. We're repeat customers because this house has been great, both in the past and now. Coming back this year felt just as cozy!

We were a group of 11 and Jody was very helpful with our last min plans after another AirBnb cancelled on us last min. This is a yearly even that we do in Des Moines and look forward to booking from him in the future.

Great location...close to food, shopping and the RecPlex. Townhouse was immaculate and exactly like the pictures. Quiet neighborhood. I would definitely stay again.

We were in town for a weekend wedding at the end of March. The quantity of bedrooms and sleeping space was great for my large family. It was nice to be able to park in the garage also. The location was easy to find and convenient for all of our wedding activities. The value was excellent- staying at a hotel with my large family would have been much more expensive and not as much fun, as we could all be together comfortably in the house!

Our family enjoyed staying at this house for Easter. We loved all the games and spacious places to hang out and relax. Definitely take the time to walk the trails behind the house.

Colby’s Instructions were very helpful and clearly written it’s obvious he is very experienced. The house was beautiful plenty of space to sit, sleep, and eat and in a quiet spot. The amenities were great having a dumpster there was very helpful multiple fridges and plenty of parking. The barn was very cool my guests were not expecting anything like that, we all had a lot of fun and had no problems keeping the place clean and following the rules.

Kalen’s house was the perfect place for our family to stay. Our kids enjoyed exploring the backyard and all of the space to play inside. We would happily stay here again.

We have stayed here several times as it is very close to family but still gives us our own space. Never had any issues. Be sure to have breakfast at Sweet Oaks just a block away!

I loved the feel of the home! Was able to accommodate my working schedule with a small office and a fully fenced in yard for the puppies! It had a lot of space for the dogs to roam and the hot tub was a wonderful amenity. David was super responsive and I felt right at home.

Luis’ home is super clean, cozy and cheerful and the perfect size for 3-4 guests. While the backyard appears to be a work in progress, it is very private and lovely at night (weather permitting). A great place to stay and close to everything. Despite a few other reviews … keep in mind that you are staying in the heart of Des Moines. At this price point, you will hear some traffic noise and neighbors, but nothing that will keep you from getting a great night’s sleep. My daughter and I would definitely stay again. The Trailside Inn is a fabulous addition to our AirBNB stays, conveniently located to nearby towns, great pricing and a huge space. This historic home has all of the amenities you could think of, it has plenty of rooms and space for a large group. Cup of Joy right next door is a fantastic coffee place that is convenient and affordable, check it out during your stay! The house was built in 1902 and has a ton of charm, my toddlers believe “someone else lives there” and saw “ghosts” which was a fun spooky addition to our stay 🤣. We would gladly come back when visiting the local towns again!

Newly constructed home in Perry with large sitting area for a whole family and very nice bedrooms. The bed in the master bedroom was particularly comfortable. Nice big kitchen area and well stocked and very good amenities. Loved that they had a Christmas tree as it gave it a warm feeling. Very convenient to everything in Perry. Highly recommend this house to other families.

Great home and really loved our stay! Very clean and easy to get to house with simple access inside. Drew was very communicative which really help our stay. Looking forward to the next time!

What a beautiful welcoming home. This place was fantastic! The location was ideal and everything we needed to have the best Thanksgiving. We loved all of the space and privacy this lot had and the dogs loved it too! I come across a lot of places that seem to be missing the necessities you need for a comfortable stay, but this place has everything you could ever need. Thank you all for being great hosts!
