Staying at Kim’s place was an absolute dream! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home and safe. The guest house was spotless, well-equipped, and surrounded by nature, making it the perfect serene and romantic getaway. As a fellow Canadian, we connected instantly—Kim is incredibly kind, welcoming, and always available if you need anything while also respecting your privacy. One of the highlights of our stay was the morning hike around the property with Kim. It was such a peaceful and refreshing way to start the day, surrounded by beautiful scenery and great conversation. The attention to detail was exceptional—plenty of towels, beach chairs, beach towels, and even snorkeling gear, which made my stay even more enjoyable. And the homemade biscuits? Absolutely delicious, even better than what you’d find at a restaurant! If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with an amazing host, this is the place. Yvette and Armando’s place was PERFECT for the getaway that we needed. Being surrounded by nature and outside the hustle and bustle was exactly what we wanted and exactly what we got. The place was immaculate and the photos truly captured every aspect of their home. It’s gorgeous. The backyard was truly impressive. The palapa with the seating and hammocks was a favorite place to relax each evening. The pool was perfect and so well maintained. Being able to rent the vehicle from them was so convenient, and a must for anyone who wants to explore this beautiful island like we did. The views from the backyard were amazing. Armando picked us up from the airport and dropped us back off. His energy is infectious and was so welcoming, we felt like long lost friends. We will most definitely be back and highly recommend their place to anyone who doesn’t want the resort scene.

We spent two months in a studio. We had a good time and were able to save ourselves fine in this stay. Everything we needed was present. A nice and clean pool was lovely. Host resolves issues quickly. The location we found fantastic. Quiet area. Recommended to stay.

The pictures do not do this space justice. It is a beautiful home with amazing views that felt very relaxing. As others have described, the ATV trail does get heavy traffic twice a day, but it was not a big deal. The A/C worked great and there were tons of towels, dishes, and other amenities. Its location is definitely off the beaten path so if you are looking for something closer to more populated areas of the island, this may not be the right place for you.
