Family-friendly vacation rentals in Andes

We LOVED our week at Hummingbird Villa. The pool hot tub and gardens are breathtaking. We felt we were at a resort but fully private. It is as beautiful as the photos. Great volcano views. Swim up bar is fun. We enjoyed hearing the many bird sounds surrounded by beautiful tropical gardens and listening to the pool waterfall. So much to do in the area. The hot tub was lovely in the evenings. Many seating options outdoors in sun or shade. The indoor space is clean and functional and a little more rustic. But if you are spending much time indoors there’s your mistake. Host was helpful and responsive. Thank you Jason for a fabulous stay.

We returned to the Castle, as the first time left a taste of wanting more. We now enjoy wonderful days again. All wonderful, in a paradisiacal place. We'll always come back. Thanks

Breathtaking view. Excellent location. We enjoyed making our own meals, dining on the deck, and floating in the pool while the sun slowly set behind the mountains. It was the perfect getaway. We stayed for 2 weeks and Carlos was very helpful. He also arranged cleaning services twice. The furniture is outdated and the cushions were lumpy, but because of the amazing mountains, we didn't care. Absolutely wonderful vacation cabin. We hope to return!

We had an amazing time at the Bilal’s Village Lodge with our two families and four toddlers. Absolutely beautiful grounds with cute farm animals to visit every morning! We appreciated the fresh farm eggs every morning, and also appreciated that the house was cleaned (on request) every other day. Max reached out several weeks before our stay to find out if he could help us book activities, and we really appreciated his recommendations. We didn’t think we’d be able to do adventurous things (like ziplining!) with the kids, but based on his recs, we booked a zipline/hot spring day where we switched off which adults stayed with the kids, and all 8 of us had the best time ever. The house is about a 15 minute drive frm everything in the Arenal/Fortuna area, which was nice to be a little removed from the bustle of town, but still close to everything we wanted to do. Would 1000% visit again!!

We just had a 5-day stay at Drew's apartment at Playa Grande. Absolutely loved the location, easy access in and out, walkability to the beach and restaurants, great room sizes, large deck, pool option, and excellent commucation from the owners. Definitely great value for the price!

Very nice and comfortable place to stay with an extra top open floor. The place had some surf boards. Kelly had left us a nice bottle of wine as well. Great place and wish we could stay there longer.

Katie's cottage was phenomenal. We loved staying here and would 100% go back. The little touches around the house all helped to make it very comfortable. Amazing location and a great host. Hopefully we'll be able to make it back sooner than later!

The Álvaro hut is small but quite comfortable, clean and with a well-equipped kitchen. It rained a lot and it was cold when we arrived, but there was a heater that worked very well. It is located in a location with access in less than 30 minutes to the Poás Volcano. Álvaro was super attentive and even took us some items at 6:30 in the morning that we needed to make breakfast.

The stay in Los Paraísos was a beautiful experience. It's spectacular in the surroundings. The pool is divine, huge and spotless. The value for the money of this place is really very good. You can enjoy nature in full, they do not want to leave the chacra. We loved interacting with the burritos, bird watching and touring the countryside on the bikes (which are so good). Ramonita and Gregorio were very friendly and helpful. Without a doubt, the Airbnb we liked the most. We're happy to have found it!. Thank you Andrea!!!!

New apartment, foot in the sand! Completely! Kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, etc. Air-conditioning throughout the space! Wonderful view! Ideal for those looking for tranquility, peace, but not opening up comfort in a good accommodation. Apartment also close to the mall and to great restaurants. Impeccable beach service with plenty of space. We went with a 2 year old son of ours and for having the tent, it made a lot of difference. Super recommend Flávia's apartment! Great hostess, responds quickly and has been attentive with us since booking. I'll come back more often!

It was brief, but very satisfying.

We had an amazing experience! The house, rustic, but with all the comfort and amenities we could think of, provided us with one of the best stays we had on Airbnb. The place is indescribably fabulous. From the entrance, the view of the sea, the Island of Cabras and São Sebastião is one of the best that could exist. When we reached the pool deck, we were sure we would come back several times. The house is a show apart... a clipping in time, approximately 100 years old, but impeccably conserved and updated. We take at will, fast Wi-Fi and good reach and with all the utensils we might need. Pool is charming. Aconchegante and intersecting with huge stones. And it still has a deck literally in the sea. Ana was an excellent host, responding quickly and passing great restaurant and bar tips. And Ilhabela, which I hadn't visited for over 30 years, also surprised by its structure, sophistication and entertainment!

Margarita is an incredible host. She loves her place and makes sure that you feel at home. She and her family are from Santa Fe de Antioquia so she knows everything and will guide you. The place is peaceful and very comfortable and the location is unbeatable. I highly recommended and would definitely go back.

Me and my 3 adult children in there 20’s stayed here and it was everything that the pictures show and better ! Outdoor living at its finest and we can’t wait to come back and stay here again! Air conditioning in each bedroom that gets very cold ! LOVED the pool ! Very clean for being outdoor living and I am very particular , but your in Costa Rica don’t go nit picking every nook and cranny you rented an Airbnb with outside living and it’s VERY CLEAN ! Upon arrival was left a bottle of wine , coffee and a pineapple:) Our host was very responsive and checked in regularly to make sure we didn’t need anything or if we needed any suggestions . You’re far enough away from town that we did not hear anything contrary to what some of the previous reviews said . This is a MUST STAY ! We loved it and were so sad to leave . We were here for 5 days and I do suggest renting a golf cart for your stay , soooo much fun and so much easier to get around it really made the trip ! Great Costa Rica Vibe

Casa Bovedas is an oasis amid Cartagena's bustling street life. The property itself is spacious, clean, private, and beautiful -- replete with colonial architectural features. The furnishings are generous, from the many indoor and outdoor spaces to chill, the well-appointed bedrooms and kitchen... and of course the dreamy pool that you will definitely want to retreat to in the steamy afternoon. But what takes an already great place to the next level is the first class service you will receive. The entire team is very kind and responsive, helpful in answering questions and booking activities, and prompt with cooking excellent breakfasts and keeping everything constantly clean so that you can spend your time exploring. Do not think twice before booking this gem. Having the pleasure of staying here made our trip even better than we imagined -- and we hope to return in the future!

ThiS was our home for ten days! simply wonderful. For us, four adults, and for our baby and five-year-old daughter! We always walked to the center, which we really liked because it allowed us to come into contact with real San Juaneños. This residence is incredibly beautiful in an incredible location. unfortunately we didn't meet Rob, but we're sure his heart is in the right place. He is very helpful and responds quickly! We could spend our whole lives here :). Thank you, Rob, Catalina and the gardner!!

Kimberly was a fantastic host and helped us get settled in after a long day of travel. The house was amazing and cozy. Everything was clean, worked, and the pool area was amazing as well. Lots of outlets as well. It’s also perfectly located between Quepos and the beaches. In addition to all of the above; the wildlife around the house was abundant and made for great entertainment while floating the afternoon away in the pool. Cant wait to return and stay longer. Perfect size for two couples or a family. Pura Vida and thanks for everything Kimberly!

This place was amazing! Pictures do not do it justice. Better in real life than in the pictures. On the calmer side of the island as it is outside the city, but close to all the amazing beaches on the West Side. Coral Estates has restaurants and diving so what more could you ask for. Will stay here again!

Palermo Hotel and resort is in a beautiful area , far enough from town to provide peace and quiet yet a short drive to restaurants and shopping in San Juan Del Sur. Kori responded to our questions or needs in record time. We enjoyed the beautiful pool and ate a few tasty meals in the restaurant. The resort staff were helpful and friendly.

My guests are I had a great stay at the Flamingo Villa in Tobago. It was exactly as described in the listing and being located in a gated community made us feel very safe. Kenny was very responsive to the few minor concerns that we had and the issues were rectified immediately. I would recommend this place to everyone and would gladly stay there again.
