Beach house vacation rentals in Anchor Bay

We had a wonderful and peaceful time exploring Bodega Bay with an amazing home base! The views were incredible and the space was super flexible - we’d love to come back!

The view. It's maily the view that no picture can really describe. But than again, the house itself is so nice, with great feeling of privecy but still near fine restaurants, wineries, short or long hiking trails, sea and forests. Perfect location

Great stay for a low-key gathering of friends which included a few young children. Spacious common area was great for everyone to be able to hangout together. Kitchen was well-equipped; we cooked a few meals. The neighborhood is peaceful and beautiful. Responsive and friendly host. Flexible checkout. Would stay again!

Aaron's place is a wonderful retreat right on the water. It is a beautiful house that is private and tucked off of the main road. Everything we needed was there. Full kitchen with great appliances, cozy living room & bedroom. All main rooms of the house have wonderful views of the water, bay and mountains beyond. Sitting on the deck is incredible with the water coming in below you at medium and high tide. The hot tub is excellent amenity! relaxing outdoors and seeing the moon & stars is an unforgettable experience! Aaron is a great host, very communicative and friendly. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Ted’s place. The home and grounds are stunning, and in a close location to a beach and short drive to town. Ted was very helpful and the trip went smoothly. Highly recommend!

Great Views, great place. Beach is amazing. Loved the stay and would recommend it. Well stocked kitchen with cast iron pans that are so much better than the usual rental scratched non-stick pans you find in other places. Just missing an ice cream scoop. Some of the linens were scratchy. I think they were microfiber which were once super soft but when washed repeatedly the synthetic fibers break and become scratchy. The bedding in the TV room we had to stash in the downstairs closet because of the obnoxious smell. I feel like the cleaning service must have spilled a bottle of Febreeze in the wash or something. The hot tub was hot and had a great view. Everything worked and was clean. The rental book was very detailed with directions, how to access the beach and use things with the exception of the downstairs TV which had a baffling smart TV like none I’ve ever used. The upstairs Roku TV worked great. The house was easy to keep a comfortable temp. As far as rental go this

Beautiful house. Amazing location. It was so amazing to walk outside to the porch and see and hear the ocean. Hearing the fog horn at night was wonderful. The sea lions in the morning were a great sound to wake up to. Perfect spot near by to see the sunset. This house is perfect for a group or a couples getaway. The neighbors are quiet, even thought their is a home preschool next door….we never heard a peep. Just an overall amazing place to stay. Cant wait to be able to go back.

Wow! This home has an exceptional setting - the spectacular views of the ocean from the great room are mesmerizing. The master bedroom and lower level bedrooms all have gorgeous views of the ocean as well. The Ocean Bluff Trail passes right behind the house, making it so convenient to explore the coast. Great for nature lovers - we saw seals, deer, rabbits, fox, and many varieties of sea birds. Also the home is pet friendly and our dog loved it! Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

Anu’s house in the Sea Ranch was perfect for our group. So easy to walk to the bluff trail, well equipped kitchen and gorgeous views of the stars from the hot tub and decks at night. We also really enjoyed the ocean view from the master bedroom and sitting in the sun on the front deck.

Beautiful house, with amazing forest views out the large windows. I loved the wifi speakers that could play throughout the whole place, including one that was battery powered and could be moved around, and sounded great. Well-maintained hiking trails start right out your door through the forest, and can go all the way down to the beach. Very comfortable bed. Fast wifi. Lovely decor. Great selection of coffee equipment. Floor heaters in bathroom and kitchen are appreciated on cold mornings. Hot tub was great; plenty of space for 3 people to stretch out, more than that will get cozy. Very private location -- there is one close neighboring house but it was vacant during our 1 week stay. Doesn't get a ton of direct sunlight due to all the beautiful towering trees around. Some forest maintenance was happing on weekdays during the day which was mildly annoying noise but not the host's fault. Recommend checking out Gualala Point Regional Park, was a nice easy walk with fun views.

We stayed here for our 23rd anniversary, and this home exceeded our expectations. We normally stay bluff side, but I'm glad we didn't. Pauline has put so much thought into making this the perfect get away and the layout is ideal for a couple looking for a quiet and private retreat. We loved the hot tub, views, fireplace (which worked great ;-) and the wonderfully comfortable beds. Many whale spouts and great dinners at the Vue and Sea Ranch Lodge where we charged our car.

The home was laid out well for our expanded family. The bathrooms were large and updated. The beds were extremely comfortable! We loved the view and the quick walk to the coastal walking trails. Our hosts were very attentive and provided lots of detailed information so that we could enjoy our time.

Deldi is an excellent host. Great communication and always easy to contact. The home is in a great location. Two minutes to the bluff trail and you can sit on the balcony with a glass of wine looking at the sun setting over the ocean while deer graze in the front yard. Magical!

Anastassias place was squeaky clean, tastefully decorated and functional. It was peaceful and quiet. And communication was great. We loved the decor and had a pleasant stay. We recommend knowing how to start a fire as it took us 2 hrs to get one going since we were both amateurs in starting one haha. It helped with keeping the place warm. We thought we would run out of lighter fluid that they provided us. But luckily we made it happen.

Wonderful stay - I was looking for a peaceful comfortable retreat in a very natural setting, but with enough amenities to entertain and care for small kids. This was perfect! The kids enjoyed the beaches in the area, the hot tub, making smores at the fire pit and playing in the home. The dog run was great for our dog's potty breaks without getting lost in the woods and the whole Sea Ranch area is super dog friendly. We had a great time! Hope to come back.

Such an amazing stay. It was a chill vacation...and a vacation for the dog. The large fenced in yard was absolutely perfect for our large dog. Plus, the outside shower was great when she got dirty. Plus, dog bowls and a bed :) I could go on and on. We have an 8 and 9 year old who loved all the amenities...we used the hot tub daily, played pool, ping pong and darts. Plus, my husband brought his Playstation...it was a game vacation! We walked to the beautiful ocean and were driving distance to some amazing seafood. The hosts were very proactive and thorough in their instructions that we never need additional contact. Thanks so much!!!

Had a fantastic week in Sea Ranch at Matt’s place; felt like home for my family of 4. The views are stunning, the location was the best we’ve had since coming to sea ranch—a short lovely walk to Ohlson rec and kid-friendly walks to the beach. Also only 1 mile from Pebble beach. It was clean, well appointed, comfy king bed, the hot tub was both hot and clean, the lovely open layout made family time while cooking possible, my toddler loved hanging out in the loft. I could go on about what I loved. I hope to stay here again!

The Wild Iris Beach House was simply amazing! The views are breathtaking. The house was beautiful with huge windows to see the ocean views. The porch is large with seats to enjoy morning coffee and evening wine. The hot tub was warm and ready for us to use! Jon and Monique were great hosts. They had a sweet note and a bottle of wine at the house to greet us. The kitchen is well stocked. This was a great place to relax and make sweet family memories. We will 100% be returning to this beach house!

The house is beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable; full of great books, puzzles, and games. The views from the large picture windows overlooking the coast are amazing. With a large, well-equipped kitchen, guests can cook or bake anything. The pack n play was a huge advantage for our grandchild and Karla's flexibility on check-in time made it possible to stay close to the usual nap schedule. This was our second visit to Karla's place and we look forward to returning again.

We have been to this home four times now and each time is so wonderful. It's a bit of heaven on earth. Serene and peaceful and the most beautiful view! We will be back.

Perfect house to connect with our kids, grandkids and granddogs. Plenty of room, everything was clean and the beach was fantastic. We would definitely rent this house again!

Serendipity is an amazing home! Our family felt right at home and it was perfect for our family of 9. The beach access is awesome as it is literally right across the street. The kitchen is fully stocked and easy to cook in. We hope to be back again! Thanks for the wonderful memories! :)

We had a wonderful stay! Took our new baby on her first vacation and it was perfect. Our dog especially loved running around the spacious beautiful backyard, the walks to the water and then laying in front of the fire. Very cozy place to stay we would definitely come again!
