We had a wonderful few day's stay in John's beautiful cottage. John is very engaging and even phoned while we were on our way to Holy Island to make sure we had received the key code and to see if we had any questions. On arrival everything was in order and Johns instructions on how to find his cottage were perfect. The cottage is incredibly well situated in the village with stunning views of the castle from the kitchen, garden and both bedrooms. We could have just spent our whole time on Hoy Island sat on the patio in the sunshine taking in the incredible view! The cottage is very up to date and the kitchen is well-equipped if you are more inclined to self cater. Everything in the village is only a few minutes walk away. There is a pub virtually next door and another pub two minutes away, also several cafes. There is also a gin shop right next door! There is room to park one car right outside and an EV charging point if you need one. All in all this is a fantastic property.

An immaculately presented cottage with everything needed for a comfortable and peaceful stay. Helen and Paul were extremely welcoming and provided plenty of information about the locality and places to visit. As a result, we had a lovely week in Northumberland. Highly recommended!

Just back from a wonderful Easter break in Ethel's cottage. Beautiful home in a lovely little quite village. spotlessly clean. Furnished nice. Lovely welcome pack on arrival. Great location and a fantastic pub serving delicious food two minutes away. 20 minutes car drive to a beach. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.

We had a fantastic time and John and Brynne’s cottage. It was warm, comfortable and everything was well thought out. The village itself is quiet and tranquil. There is ample parking, and plenty of dry wood to use on the wood burner, that makes for a cosy time. The place feels newly decorated and fresh, and made our stay very enjoyable.

Lovely place - nice and comfortable. It was the first time we had been there and Seahouses is a very good location from which to explore the area. Gavin gave a lot of good local information which was very helpful, and was on hand to answer any small question. Overall, a great stay and we would love to go again.

The property is as described easy to find with parking in the drive. Corner Shop nearby. You can see the Holy Isle at the end of the road overlooking the golf course. It had everything we needed during our visit to see family. It is lovely and cosy. Our granddaughter loved all the little birds in the back garden. Highly recommend.

It was a good place to base ourselves to explore the wonderful Northumberland coast. Paul contacted us 24 hours before we arrived with check-in instructions.

We had the most wonderful stay at this lovely cottage. Jane was a brilliant & welcoming host and we loved everything about our stay. The cottage has been so thoughtfully & beautifully put together, & I agree with a previous review that the space is even better in real life! Spotlessly clean with absolutely everything you need. The garden was a delight, we spent a long time watching all sorts of birds visit the feeder from the cosy garden room, including a very dandy woodpecker! We visited the coast on the days we visited (loved Alnmouth, Low Newton and Beadnell) and this was a great base camp to come back to. Perfect for dogs too as you can walk around the beautiful estate before heading out for the day. We will definitely be coming back. Thanks Jane!

Neil was very friendly and responsive to our questions. We’re American and always struggle with learning how to turn on the showers and appliances while in Europe. It is very close to the train tracks which we used multiple times during our stay. It is in a quiet neighborhood. I do feel the location is a bit hidden, but once you know how to get there, it’s easy. His place was very nice and we enjoyed our stay.
